he looks funny
Is it funny in the good or the bad way?
More in the bad way, he’s sickle hocked and has a teeeeeeny teeny short little back with a longass neck
Agreed on the hocks, although they look more extreme in this picture than in others, idk
I don’t really see a short back? Neck is a bit long (I’m also used to PREs with shortish and bulgy necks) ,but his back looks really average to me
You know the breed better than I do, but I s2g, how do you fit a saddle on that??
No fucking idea, I can’t really judge the back on the pictures I can find of him. I mean:
His back looks quite normal here, I agree that the withers are a bit high but the images of him under saddle look average:
(hollow af but y’know) He still has room being the saddle, idk
(x)
I think there is something strange going on with the first picture, because his shoulder looks weirdly undersized compared to the rest of him, but the second picture looks much better, balance wise. I think here in the US we are used to seeing much longer backed horses, in general, so a horse with a shorter back looks odd.
I can’t add much rn because I’m on mobile, but I’ll try to find a few pictures of other PREs and post them later to compare them. Maybe y'all are right and I’m not seeing it

she’s cute
Feels real good to be doing something meaningful. Working with the therapy clients is the best.
