Louis then goes on to admit that Lestat deserves an answer. He owes it to him to live honestly but he isn't.

Louis acknowledging Lestat's complaint and admitting to being selfish is the most honest he has been in a while(with himself too).

Lestat inspires that in him. With lestat he feels loved and therefore feels responsible to be brave and real with him. No delusions or distractions.

The show needs to add to this. Let Armand chime in! Their relationship is the best case study for how Louis mishandles grief around people he doesn't feel connected to. As long as Louis is around people he loves, he remains healthy mentally.

Louis and Lestat should have kissed when they saw each other again in the tour bus. With the full run up and all. It woulda been epic. And they just chose not to?

Instead we get Louis just casually sitting apart from everyone else and away from Lestat? What is this season's problem with louis and his 3 husbands. They didn't even leave Daniel😭

The way i get it but he didn't to do ALLAT for saying it. They could sit in a cafe for this.

Louis was Armand's drug. Louis helped him beat his loneliness & brought in his own warmth, coldness, tenderness & manipulations. Just like claudia was Louis' bandaid from his (vampire) life as a black man in NOLA & its griefs.

Both their love was real. In whatever amounts it existed over the 80 years. I hope Louis and Armand can look each other in the eye and make something good out of it, if not fully make amends. I want them in each other's corner since this isn't book louis who is entirely indifferent to Armand. I like that he is capable of empathising and reaching Armand in a way book louis never did.
