Explanation for the people who aren’t from Germany:

This food has different names, depending on where you are in Germany.

Usually they’re called “Berliner”

In the Ruhr region and the Sauerland they’re called Kräppel/Kreppel/Krebbel

In Berlin and east Germany they’re called Pfannkuchen. This is where it gets weird, cause that’s what the rest of Germany calls pancakes.
