My friends are the greatest. For my birthday they bought me games.

My first friend bought me Dynasty Warriors Origins because we spoke about our childhood games and mine was Dynasty Warriors 2. Even now I still remember that game fondly. I felt super nostalgic playing Origins and had a flood of pure delight as I swung around a spear tearing down hoards of enemies. It reminds me of my childhood home and the old home rental video shop that I would borrow Dynasty Warriors 2 from. The smell of popcorn and my greasy little remote controller. My dad’s head popping into my little game room when night closed in. The only light in the room being the tv screen. My concept of time being sucked away into the game and not realising it had grown dark.

While my second friend bought me Pathologic 2 because they hate me specifically.

The friend that got me Dynasty Warriors got me Pathologic 3 this year. They hate adore me equally.

With Lyon’s polycoria and only having one eye situation I imagine that surely his vision is affected in someway. Having only one eye affects depth perception. And polycoria as far as I’ve read can affect how you take in light so his vision might be blurry or be sensitive to light.

So the Drifter using him as a Frame must take a lot of trust on his side. Lyon likely can’t see properly and take in everything as fast as the Drifter is tossing him around so I imagine he’s putting a lot of faith and trust into the Drifter’s hands, even more so than someone like Roathe who has all his senses in tact.

Created the beginning of a fanfic where I kinda crossover Frankenstein and Durgetash. Will I share it? Idk yet. Cause I wrote it using my Durge and not the default Dragonborn Durge. I like it tho. Probably wildly ooc but I create art I want to see

I just want to yap about my Drifter. Here she is :> more info about her below the cut

Her name (and my Operators name cause they’re the same person but not) is Isleen which means “dream” or “vision” which is on the nose I know.

But I call my Drifter “Izzy” a nickname given to her by the Hex.

I don’t have to explain but the Drifter is canonly called ‘Marty’ as a parody to Back To The Future. I main Octavia, this is relevant.

Her name is Izzy named after my parody of David Bowie’s persona ‘Ziggy Stardust’ which I call ‘Izzy Stardust’. Hence the nickname ‘Izzy’.

Izzy learnt how to braid hair from Quincy who is her LI. So when she met Roathe and he has his intricate braided look in his hair she offered to help him out with it. Now she dresses her hair up like Roathe’s because it keeps her hair back and hands busy.

Izzy eagerly took to 1999 fashion. She wanted to ditch all of the tight suits and armour that made her feel like she had to always be ready for a fight. She switched to something casual and has experimented on trying to find her style and sense of identity. The syandana is so Izzy can “have a tail as well” like Roathe has.

I've only barely started playing MTG but I am so far baffled as to how the community doesn't have some IRL equivalent of Pokemon gyms. People put so much effort into creating decks with unique theming, and while plenty of people are trying to optimize their decks to be flawlessly unbeatable, even more just seem to really like decks with cool themes surrounding particular creature types or mechanics.

I just think Magic would lend itself really well to a type of semi-competitive scene where you and your buddies can hop on the bus to the next town over to go fight Crab Guy (guy who likes crabs) at the Crab Gym (room at the back of a game store with paper crabs on the walls) to get your Crab Badge (small pin with a crab on it) by defeating his Crab Deck (deck whose only creature cards are crabs)

I am back on my Arcana shit. I REALLY MISS IT ;-; I WISH there was more content!! The Arcana was lightening in a bottle and there’s nothing being done with it. Fuck I miss it so much man.

Something I have noticed is that meeting Gortash as Tav vs as Durge is obviously very different

One thing I don't see a lot of people mention, especially in fics because that would be HILARIOUS, is that Gortash can't keep eye contact with Durge for even half a second.

With Tav, he's steady and in control, slightly nervous about the plan fucking up and all that

With Durge, he is a MESS. Can't keep eye contact, can't stop smiling, constantly reminding them that they were verrrrrry close, he even sort of fidgets more

Being a chronic migraine sufferer I understand trepanning. Cause the pressure feels like it would go away if someone just got a sharp rock and made a hole in my skull to allow the demons to escape.

I remember when my friends and I were peak into Sea of Thieves I did a fuckton of my own world building in my own sandbox.

I created my own faction called the Reaper’s Shadow which was a spy syndicate branch of the Reapers. It was ran like a cult by my antagonist; Red. A cutthroat pirate who ruled with an iron fist and silver tongue. Falling in line was a bunch of other characters I made; Darcy, Pombo, Ace, Verbena, Grimm etc.

The Reaper’s Shadow then crumbled because Red died but then I created my own curse which was essentially vampirism. Red then came back with that vampirism.

Not to be beat he created The Scourge and hid away on an island in the Red Sea. The only way to navigate the sea and not get your ship torn to pieces was by a lighthouse sitting on the edge of the fog. The lighthouse keeper would guide you if you had The Scourge flag raised, if not, good luck.

The Scourge’s main Thing TM was the trade of vampiric or other spooky artefacts as well as curses and hexes. Those with keen eyes and a sensitive soul could find these supernatural trinkets. The Scourge isn’t held liable if these artefacts are haunted and you become cursed or otherwise debilitated.

The Scourge island was not run like a cult but a business. Red saw the folly in his old plans and Grimm took up the mantle of dealing with the money and people. If you wanted to talk business then Grimm is your guy. Hexes and curses? Ex-Order of Souls and firecracker; Pombo. Cosmetics surgery? Disgraced surgeon and serial killer; Ace. Shipwright? Former detective and flora cursed; Darcy. Equipment? Bleeding heart and part time con-man; Tem. Weapons? A hunter you find sitting upon the shore. A hunter of what you don’t know; Sacha.
