caretaker takes their sweater off. it's chilly, but not chilly enough to warrant the way whumpee is trembling so violently.

they take a step towards whumpee, trying to appear as non-threatening as possible. whumpee seems to freeze for a second, the line of their posture tense and coiled— an attempt to shrink within oneself, bracing for something and hiding from something alike.

caretaker gently pulls the sweater over whumpee's head, guiding their stick-thin arms into the soft fabric as whumpee stays still and quiet throughout the process, looking at them with huge, unblinking eyes.

"there," caretaker says, gently patting whumpee on their arms as they step away. "better?"

whumpee blinks. a weak protest, "you need that," as they fidget with the sleeves. they can't bring themself to remove it. it's soft and filled with cartaker's warmth.

caretaker shakes their head, carding their fingers through whumpee's hair in an attempt to straighten it back.

"not more than you."

“Whoa, whoa, whoa.” Whumper cuts Whumpee off, grabbing them by the roots of their hair and wrenching their head back so their neck is exposed and vulnerable. “I don’t know who you think you’re talking to. I can do any damn thing I want.”

"Alright." Gritted through their teeth

Grimacing and saying, "Get close like that, I might spit at you."

"I---I know. I just meant---AH!---Nothing---I meant nothing."

Whumpee who was raped by their first Whumper as punishment. If they broke something, they'd be raped. If they were late to their chores, they were raped. If they burnt dinner, they'd be raped.

They're so used to sobbing apologies for Whumper, because that's what they were conditioned to do instead of beg for it to stop.

So now, when their new Whumper rapes them for the first time, and they haven't done anything wrong, Whumpee still begs for forgiveness

confusion wars with despair and terror in whumpee's mind and body. they know this feeling - this is far from the first time that they've been stripped and their legs forced open. they know what to prepare for. the pain, the deep violation, the inescapable feeling of being dirty, ruined, used. this is how whumpee was punished last time. of course it is this time, too. except...

"i'm sorry," whumpee sobs. they can't help it - they clench down hard when they're first breached, and it makes the pain so much worse, but they've never learned to relax and make it easier on themself. they've never been able to teach their body not to fight the intrusion, the invasion. "i don't know what i did. i'm sorry. what did i do?" whumper groans, satisfied and excited, in their ear, and whumpee stifles a keening, desperate cry. "i'm sorry. i'm so sorry. whatever i- i'm sorry. i didn't mean to. i'm sorry."

"oh, it's okay," whumper coos. they don't stop for a moment. they continue moving their hips, continue crushing their body against whumpee's. "it's alright. you haven't done anything wrong. you don't need to be sorry."

the thrusting continues. if anything, it increases. faster. harder. sharper.

"you didn't do anything wrong." soothing, gentle, a comforting tone. whumper's thumb wipes tears from whumpee's cheek, and a kiss is pressed to their trembling lips. "it's okay. you've done nothing wrong."

deep. painful. aching. inescapable. ceaseless. brutal. whumpee sobs. struggles. it's useless. whumper's grip is bruising their skin and they fuck whumpee like they're trying to bruise them deep inside too.

"you've done nothing wrong."

Whumper sitting with whumpee, forcing them to tell them their preferences, what they like, what they don't like, what are their hard nos. Treating it like a build up to a consensual scene, except none of it is consensual at all, and whumper is essentially using it as a checklist.

i think when representing trauma and PTSD in media we should explore hallucinations more. not the ones where they imagine talking to the person of their trauma because usually that’s written unrealistically but for example:

auditory hallucinations like small sounds, voices that both seem unreal and real, etc. but also tactile ones. touches, skin crawling, all that crap. the feeling of someone being right there in the room with you is also something that i’d like to see represented more because it can be written sooo well. and last but not least the classic flashes compared to the constant hallucinations. the flash of a shadow or a figure or a face that’s gone before you can truly grasp it ykwim

i need to see more loneliness in whump. not like being literally the only person around, but just... being on the outside of everything. whumpee has no idea how to function in a group setting, how to make meaningful relationships, how to care for other people, so they can't form relationships to learn how to do that.

they're so used to their own company that they forget it's normal to have contacts in their phone, to meet up with friends, to be invited to things.

they can't get close to people because they're scared of someone seeing the real them and deciding it's not worth the effort. and they don't want to tell the people they might actually be close to the truth because then they'll be forever treated differently, even if their friends say they won't.

whumpee isn't totally invisible, but if they're out of sight then they're out of mind. and somehow that feels worse than if nobody noticed them in the first place because people do see, but whumpee isn't enough for them to keep looking.

give your whumpees summer depression. everyone else is happy and delighted the sun's out, and whumpee just wants everything to be over. it's too hot. they've got too much time to fill. everything's so good and cheerful and they just can't tap into it. and they've got no one to talk to about it because everyone else is enjoying life. they don't want to ruin the mood.

slightly obssessed with how society's refusal to help you until you are at rock fucking bottom will lead to a whumpee only feeling valid if the Literal Worst is happening to them. only feeling seen. they're so average and unremarkable as a person that people only ever look if they're breaking down and dying. when they start to get better, all the attention disappears again. so they stop trying.
