Yay Nevermore latest episode is out Now episode 163 (spoilers)
I find it interesting how easily Annabel is able to put on back her mask. It’s clear she perfected it during the years she spent alive.
I think Annabel Lee truly does Envy her, because unlike Annabel Lee she possibly(we don’t know her full backstory yet) hasn’t come face to face with how cruel the world is. This words feel like Annabel Lee is telling her that that’s impossible that we can’t all be friends and everything isn’t hii to magically work out in the end.
When I saw this first panels and realised what she was about to do and saw she was unable to do it. The first thing that came to mind was the scene were Ada was withering and she told Annabel Lee she knew she was going to leave her behind. I bring this up cause I feel like there’s been a recent trend of Annabel Lee resisting her old tactics. I’ve noticed since After the balcony scene with duke, Pluto, Lenore and her.
Annabel Lee is slowly starting to care more for other people that aren’t Lenore, and I’m interested to see how that will affect her plans in the future.
I love scenes where Annabel Lee are is vulnerable it reminds you that’s even her mask breaks sometimes.
Yay I loved this new episode, also I know this review of it is more Annabel Lee focused, so I’ll make another review of the episode ( hopefully)
