ANNOUNCEMENT 2/28/26

I’m sorry to announce that the HTF Fanzine has been cancelled at this time.

The art I received for the fanzine has been questionable with a lot of pieces not fitting the theme of a proud fandom. Not to mention there hasn’t been a lot of cooperation despite how many members we have.

There really isn’t much to make a fanzine and a lot of members have been unresponsive when I tried to reach out.

I’m sorry to those who were still thinking on this fanzine. I hope in the future this can be done better on my part. It was my first time setting up the idea for a fanzine and it didn’t turn out how I envisioned.

Thank you for your participation and I hope with new stuff happening slowly in the HTF franchise perhaps there are other way to show support than making a fanzine.

Regarding the zine

First off, it’s just on hiatus because a lot of members who signed up haven’t exactly turned in art.

At first I was willing to give extended time. However, over time, it didn’t look like people were going to make the new deadline.

Next thing I knew, I was being too nice and gave more time.

And so far no one has even participated in the writing portion for the magazine (you writer a letter to the HTF crew what you love about the show).

A lot of things have happened since the zine was put on pause for me. I’m not saying it’s cancelled, I just wonder who is really still in and who is out.

I was even planning to ship free HTF stickers…

UPDATE JAN 16/2023:

Hi, everyone.

I know it’s been a while since I updated, and I had mentioned to hopefully get this fanzine thing done around December.

However, a lot of things happened. My job. My small business. Friends and family. Fighting to save shows and “unpause” them.

I still have all your beautiful art that was submitted. The back of my mind assumes some people STILL want to submit something. 🤷🏻‍♀️

But for right now, the fanzine is on pause. And I hope this year I’ll be more active and make it happen.

FANZINE UPDATE

I know December has come and past and a lot of you are wondering when the fanzine will be finished.

To be honest, it’s still in the works. But I’ve put it on hiatus due to other focuses. I now have a full-time job, running a small business out of my passion for other cartoons besides HTF, and, of course, time for myself.

Please don’t think I suddenly just threw away this project. HTF may not be my current hyperfixation, but I still love and adore it.

Perhaps I can finish the project later this year. I’ll keep you guys updated.
