Ok two things here: one is that I’ve been trying to recreate this for literal years and I haven’t been able to figure out why it hasn’t sounded right for a while but in this video I can see that in the fill she’s doing double kicks (maybe triple??) which are like insanely hard to do well and keep on beat-
And also can we just take a second to appreciate a female drummer? As a girl who’s been drumming since I was pretty young, it’s so cool to see a female drummer, let alone one who’s touring at Sarah’s caliber. Seriously. Huge touring artists never have female drummers. Go to billboard 100 right now and see for yourself. When I found out Harry’s drummer was female, I freaked out. It’s seriously incredible and so inspiring to see. Anyway, Sarah is a legend and deserves all the love in the world ✌️
