I find it very hard to believe that the same woman who is drawn to highly intelligent & educated men with genius minds like Hank Pym & Tony Stark would ever be in a serious relationship with Alex Summers in any universe.

Anytime Lorna is freed from Alex we cheer
Yeah, I'm just 100% done with ASOIAF at this point.
That Mad King play was the most misogynistic shit ever.
Rhaella, the same woman who hugged her half-Dornish granddaughter while her horrible rapist husband was openly racist, is now racist to her daughter in law & also she's abusive to son who she was canonically stated to have protected & who loved her so dearly he lost his humanity selling away the last thing he had of hers to survive.
Elia, the woman who was raped & murdered because her husband publicly humiliated & abandoned her her for a teenager was in on it & actually contributed to her own downfall, which resulted in the brutal death & the murders of her children.
But Rhaegar is flawless & absolved of all fault.
How it feels sometimes to be a Janet van Dyne fan who likes Hank Pym

"We need more monster romances with monster girls and human guys"
You guys can bearly handle when a woman with powers falls for an average guy! Anytime a witch/superheroine/etc falls for a guy who is just a guy y'all complain that "he is holding her back" and that the story would be better had she fell for a another girl and/or someone who has powers as well, someone who can "handle her", most of a time a villain who abused her
Ever noticed how Gwen Stacy was a love of Spiderman's life but Peter Parker was just Ghostspider's best friend?
Ever noticed how there is bearly any female superhero x male civilian ships, how What If had to turn Steve into prototype Iron Man because a concept of Captain Britain just having a romance with a disable sweet boy who is just here to show moral support was apparently not an option?
Ever noticed how Ladybug x Adrian is the least romanticized part of a love square? How no one ever brings up Mavis and Jonathan whenever people talk about well written fictional couples? How they made every elf fall for Galadriel in Rings of Power while ignoring her canon husband who is best know for being her husband?
And you want to know why? Because you guys don't actually see those girls as characters, you see them as self inserts, a way to live your fantasy away from this boring life. If you had powers, you wouldn't "waste" yourself on a guy that brings nothing but moral support to the table when a handsome guy with powers I standing there and/or you are projecting your own experience with prejudices on character who is facing some form of discrimination because of their powers
And I can bet that any story with a monster girl would be given the same treatment. Learn to actually see fictional characters as fictional characters and not an extension of yourself, we can talk about male monsterfuckers
Rachel Summers:
Marvel really had the love of Johnny Storm's life irreconcilably break up with him just so Luna Maximoff could exist and then refused to do anything with her character.
First grandchild of Magneto, no relevance, overshadowed by Billy & Tommy.
First Inhuman/Mutant, no cool powers, overshadowed by Kamala.
First second gen Inhuman royal, no1gaf, overshadowed by Ahura (he's not relevant either because Inhumans in general aren't, but he's got way more interesting subplots at least).
I'm genuinely annoyed how wasted she is. Marvel is more likely to give Wanda a 3rd child ATP before they ever do anything with Luna.
I could never GAF about Genosha, Krakoa, Utopia, etc because it all feels like reheated Inhumans nachos.
Why tf are you hating on X-Men in the X-Men tags???
God I didn’t realize it was an issue?!
I like the X-men, I just didn’t like the particular concept.
Hank Pym & Janet van Dyne I mourn your erasure in the MCU Avengers.
I absolutely love how Jean’s children keep raising each other.
Rachel (as Mother Askani) raising Nathan -> Nathan raising Hope
NuHumans are the most wasted potential in Marvel comics.
If the Inhuman royal family are going to continue being morally grey occasional villains (which they should be! because monarchy & everything it represents is gross), NuHumans would've balanced them out perfectly if they didn't always become chummy with the Royals.
Give me Down to Earth Inhumans stories, show me the struggles NuHumans face with adapting, but don't tack on the exact same prejudice sublot of the Mutants onto them. (Terrigenesis is less dangerous to the regular human people around them than Mutants randomly activating deadly powers, they shouldn't be feared the same way/for the same reasons.)
Give me the Inhuman royals trying to recruit NuHumans to rebuild their kingdom & NuHumans turning them down.
Give me NuHumans who resent Black Bolt for unleashing the Terrigen cloud on them, stealing their agency (something Karnak & other native Inhumans had), & having powers forced on them with no choice.
Give me the royals grieving that they can never truly rebuild Attilan with NuHuman "replacements" and being forced to accept the new status quo, maybe even learning to understand that it's better for the survival of Inhuman species to be diverse instead of being a singular nation easier to target by enemies.
Heck, maybe Crystal or Queen Medusa can even make a comment about one of the isolated Mutant islands and reminisce about what the Inhumans have lost.
Give me the Inhuman royals not being royals anymore because they don't have enough subjects.
Lastly, give me more Maximus cameos! He's too darn funny & charming to exclusively be Black Bolt's personal villain. Let him be a pain in the ass to more characters than just the Inhumans.
Marvel has 3 instances of FemPreg but:
1 is literal rape by deception
1 was a random cosmic accident/miracle
& 1 was the consensual product of Sapphics (fortunately), but the Sapphics in question are evil abusive deadbeats (and one of the Sapphics also raped other people via deception)
The reasons I’m against making NuHumans (new Inhumans) marginalized the way Mutants are because
1. It’s boring and has been done to death by the Mutants.
2. Inhumans don’t pose a randomized threat to Humans the way Mutants do. Inhumans go into cocoons when exposed to Terrigen, people around an Inhuman undergoing the process of Terrigenesis can prepare and get out of harms way whereas Mutants can be undetectable ticking time bombs.
I could never GAF about Genosha, Krakoa, Utopia, etc because it all feels like reheated Inhumans nachos.
As much as some of his fans want to deny it, Scott was definitely a deadbeat at the start of Nathan’s life.
He didn’t even call to check up on Maddy when he was away at any point, even when she was heavily pregnant, due to give birth any minute, or right after she birthed his literal baby, meanwhile some of his teammates did, despite having no obligation to.
Later on he doesn’t contact Maddy for weeks after dropping everything to go see Jean.
I’m not saying he shouldn’t have seen Jean, I’d want to see my dead loved one if they came back from the dead too, & this is about Scott as a father, not a husband. But you’d think a caring father would try harder to contact the mother of his child & know how his baby is doing.
Obviously he does become a lot better with time. He’s a great father as far as X-men fathers go (though the bar is admittedly low), and even if Maddy & Nathan didn’t get kidnapped I don’t think Scott would have continued going on with his life pretending he didn’t have a child. He probably would’ve gotten an epiphany that he was missing out on his child’s life or something, but I’m just saying he had his deadbeat moments before getting some character development.
So basically Chris Claremont's initial plan (after being forced to kill off Jean & before being forced to resurrect her) for Scott & Maddy was just Hank & Janet 2.0 (considering that Hank was also initially attracted to Janet because she looked like his dead wife Maria)
Crystalia Amaquelin & Alexander Summers might just be the biggest bag fumblers in Marvel.
The only two characters who I've seen downgrade love interests so badly.
