I'm genderqueer! And aspec! And lots more things you can extrapolate by experiencing this blog! I'm still figuring a lot of things out about myself, and I don't see myself ever discontinuing this endeavor!

My favorite color is purple! This deserves its own sentence (...and this follow up one) for emphasis!

I mostly reblog, but occasionally make original posts about media I’m interested in or about my personal character development and the emotions thereof!

i think I'm taking a break from tumblr for a while. having a place to vent about things is...incredibly tempting given the monologuing nature of it but it's...making things more taxing right now so...it's probably best until I recharge from visiting home and seeing my parents again. And (laughs) we all just rescheduled my plane tickets for me to stay: TWO EXTRA DAYS this morning! hooray for me!

...I hope this doesn't have lasting consequences regarding her perception of me because I wasn't acquiescing about this.........as if my brain wasn't going through hell enough with the things that I pieced together about my problems last week...

it's such bs that the whole guilt-ridden stoic self-sacrificing martyr thing doesn't work outside of fiction. repressing all your emotions and neglecting your physical wellbeing should make you god's most tragically beautiful morally unassailable little soldier of righteousness but all it does is give you bad skin and gastrointestinal problems

Real thing that changed how i write: I started asking "what does this character think is wrong with them" and separately "what is actually wrong with them." Those two things are almost never the same. She thinks she's too much. She's actually terrified of being too little. He thinks he's bad at commitment. He's actually just never met someone he trusted enough. The gap between their diagnosis of themselves and the real thing, that's your character arc right there. you don't have to explain it. just write both.

this post's hypothetical by itself is already ridiculous but the thing that gets me is how the wording implies two very funny things that become funnier in tandem

1. "Accidentally, the pitcher tosses a Christian baby" means this is a mistake on the pitcher's part. i imagine the pitcher is breastfeeding on the field and they pitch and they look down at their hands and they see the ball still in the glove and they go "fuck"

2. hitting the baby will still win you the game
