I’m just mad because from what I’ve seen of her, she doesn’t seem like 616 MJ. I know it’s acting but she doesn’t give off the right feel, y'know? Ultimate MJ maybe. I honestly hate the Ultimate Universe. If she does good then that’s great, it’s just a personal thing with the vibe I always got from MJ.

Zendaya can act. She’s funny, fashionable, energetic and smart so I’m honestly confused? Isn’t that who Mary Jane Watson is? 

Look, I would say that it’s a very premature to get mad about something no one has seen yet. Giving it a shot wouldn’t hurt. This a big thing for all the young actors in the movie. New York is a diverse place and having a movie that actually represents that diversity is uncommon (which is ridiculous). Adding people of color to high profile movies, as prominent characters, gives  representation to those watching that aren’t as lucky their white counter parts. It’s about updating and leveling out a very white landscape.  

And if, at the end you still don’t like the way that Zendaya plays the role, then you have a plethora of other Spiderman films featuring white, read-headed MJ to go through/back to. 

It’s a win/win tbqh.

Actually that’s rather curious. The first time we saw the titans, it was on Zendikar. When the first two returned, they looked exactly the same, but they were still on Zendikar. Now that Emrakul has migrated to Innistrad, she looks slightly different. Is it possible that they retain the same basic shape across all planes, but their… aesthetics, for lack of a better term, differ?

My best guess is that Emrakul’s form on Zendikar was a bit ragged-looking because the Eldrazi had been trapped on that plane for thousands of years and so time and planar forces had taken their toll on her physical manifestation, especially while she was bound for so long. When she escaped back to the blind eternities and then came to Innistrad, her manifested form was fresh and undamaged and more idealized. Remember, the eldrazi titans are just manifesting on the plane. It’s not the whole of their being unless they’re destroyed like happened with Ulamog and Kozilek on Zendikar, where their whole essence was actually pulled onto the plane before they were destroyed.
