WHAT IS HATCHETFIELD NIGHT TERRORS?

Night Terrors is a collection of 8 fanmade stories in the Hatchetfield universe, sort of a ‘fanmade’ season to the Nightmare Time series. The project is currently only being ran by one person, so expect updates to be slow. It will be mix of canon characters and a few original characters written specifically for HNT.

WHERE WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THIS?

For ease of production, since again this is just one person, it will be written as a fanfiction on Archive Of Our Own. In the future once the eight episodes are written in fic format, it may be transferred into an audio only episode series.

thought i wasnt following and accidently unfollowed</3 anyway this was gonna be on anon but. like. why. anyway are there any non canon ships at all (specifically in the episodes, not just characters people might ship together), or are you sticking to things established in canon?

Very few non-canon ships! I am leaving SOME ships open to interpretation, both from characters in canon and ocs. There is some pretty heavily implied ‘Becky and Linda dated in highschool’ and Gary having one sided feelings for multiple people, but it’s mostly stuck to canon. :]

After a sudden week long disappearance, television personality Markson Iris is back, and he’s spreading the image and brand of a little purple bird, suspiciously similar to that of the recently shut down Watcher World mascots. WA.DE. is here, and its charm has taken the town by swarm! Or at least… most of it. CCRP worker Bill Woodward is immediately hellbent on fleeing town once every electronic in town is having WA.DE. downloaded into it, but his daughter Alice is determined to end this threat before it can spread outside of town.

MURKY WATERS

After a workplace incident where Ted Spankoffski is sued and facing possible time, he’s offered to take community service instead of a jail sentence. While he’s more than excited to only have to spend two months doing an easy job at the towns water plant, something about the rest of the plant workers questioning him about funeral funds and a black bubbling that comes from the water tower makes him almost wish he had taken the time in jail.

Out of the many legends surrounding the Witchwood Forest to ward people from exploring into it, very few hold truth. But one that becomes more likely by the day is a shapeshifter that leaves the darkness of the Witchwood and prowls the treeline every night, luring people into the trees never to be seen again. The monsters #1 fan Ruth Flemming is desperate to find the monster and interact with it herself, so she recruits the help of Hatchetfield Highschools photography club president to see if they can meet the monster and survive.

One night a solution presents itself in a nanochip that lets her control what he focuses on, and sets her as his primary thought at all times. But when a family emergency strikes and she’s forced to leave town for a week, it leaves the nanochip without an objective, and rewrites its own coding in her absence to something much more violent.

In the backyard of Emma Perkins house, weed crops are wilting and dying of an unknown sickness, one that neither her nor town pothead Ziggy can identify. As the sickness gets worse and other crops begin to die around town in strangely calculated patterns the question of what is infecting the plants turns into who is infecting the plants quick.
