Being the Pinoko Stan that I am, I had to buy the Pinoko tribute manga made for BJs 40th anniversary-

It’s so great and has tons of short stories all about my fave girl,

But also it’s a reminder of why I get so dang mad about Pinoko’s whole story

Like probably 50% percent of the book is Pinoko getting an adult body through magic or in a dream, and every single one ends up with her either choosing to return to normal (through guilt thank you very much I’m so mad) or the ‘it was all a dream’ ending, and like!!!

Look how beautiful and happy she looks!! Someone just let her stay like that please I’m gonna scream

One of the best stories though involves BJ having a dream where now he’s in the small body and Pinoko is normal, and there’s a great moment where he’s going ‘stop treating me like this I’m an adult!’ And realizes ‘... oh crap I do the same thing to Pinoko’ and I’m like ‘GOOD. FEEL BAD.’

I love the man but sometimes he drives me crazy. But he also admits here that he’s scared of Pinoko abandoning him and Pinoko being perfect girl and going “Silly, I’ll always be with you!” So yeah, I have to forgive him~

Anyways, the book is gorgeous and Pinoko deserves ALL the love.
