Recently finished fakemon for my region project! Based on polyps, jellies, and sea anemone. Split evolution is determined by whichever stat is higher(special defense for Scyllabelle, defense for Charybdeluge). The 2nd stages are based on Scylla and Charybdis!

And...this will be the last set of fakemon I show before OFFICIALLY starting to share all my fakemon starting on friday! All posts will be under the tag #alker region!! Please look forward to it!

Old drawings and concepts. This was before conceptualizing them off of Scylla and Charybdis, so it was a split-evo cnidarian with not much more to it. Even between these images the stat that determined the split was different!

Polypso's name is mashed from "polyp" and "calypso", admittedly calypso the myth doesn't have anything to do with the other two but they all appear in the odyssey so the theming is fine. Scyllabelle is mashed from "scylla", "bell"(as in the bell of a jellyfish) and "belle"(#women). Charybdeluge is from "charybdis" and "deluge"(sudden downpour/flood). Overall I'm quite happy with this line. They all share visual similarities and while the two evos have totally different color schemes they're both tied to the first stage mon.

I asked my boyfriend how he knew he was a boy and he said he just felt this unexplainable intrinsic feeling he was a boy... and I'm like... But I'm the type of person who believe that everything has a rationale behind it, and like an adopted child who is curious about their biological parents, I just am just interested in my origins! The field of genetics still is mostly just like,,,, hmmm we think this whatever MIGHT be a contributing factor to a person turning out this way... maybe.
