Another thing I am is a THEATRE KID! One of my 2026 new years resolutions is to start auditioning at a local theatre! I'm very invested in my high school theatre troupe and want to go to college for theatre production!

somewhere it is confirmed that Oliver only has one optical sensor, i think. the details escape me. is this because he was born without one, or did it have something to do with his DIY top (head) surgery?

Yeah, it's related to the DIY surgery. he replaced the shell but didn't have space for the second sensor or the money to figure out an alternate system, like adding a new separate hookup.
i cant possibly explain how important this is to me. gender affirming care IS that serious and diy solutions have real risks!! its so cool to see that stuff represented at all
the sanders sides fandom is and always has been a blast because it's a setting in which no ships will ever be canon, ever. and you'd think that would bring down the mood but instead it's created a "fuck it, we ball" energy the likes of which no other fandom i've seen has been able to replicate since
The bracelet order of Patton’s arms are determined on which sides aren’t getting along at the moment. He does this as a way to manifest them being friends because the power of the friendship bracelets will unite them!!
He believes in this power because he always puts Roman and Logan together when they are fighting and they get along again within the week.
He’s had Janus’ and Virgil’s bracelets on the same arm since Redux.
Orange side reveal plays out similarly to Remus’ reveal where he knocks out Logan somehow and just stands in his spot, but because Logan has more space behind him, you actually see him lying dead on the ground the whole video.
I have a headcanon that Hylians are considered mature in different ways depending on their culture.
In bigger communities such as Hateno, they're considered of adult age when they grow into their ears (similar to some species of cat and dog growing into their paws). In Lurelin, it's when they can man a boat by themselves. In Castle Town it was when they could be accepted into the guard.
In smaller communities such as ones built around stables or outposts, it was when they could go out on their own.
They varied a little, but overall the agreement across Hyrule is that a Hylian is mature at 20 years. The youngest out of any civilized species, considering their short lifespan. This can obviously double as their drinking age.
There are different coming of age rituals, such as bringing back the guts of a monster, going on a fishing or hunting trip, or even just joining the royal guard (which I imagine is a lot like joining military in some families, that is to say, an expectation rather than a career choice).
And this is all to say that, given that this could be the case, not only can Link not order a drink, but in most places he wouldn't be allowed out of village limits alone. If he wasn't chosen by the Master Sword, he probably wouldn't have been able to join the guard.
