CALLING ALL TENNA FANS WHO ARE TECHNOLOGICALLY CHALLENGED!!!
here is a simple explanation on how a crt tv works specifically the... gulp... w*res and... c*bles.
disclaimer: depending on when they were made, the brand, etc these may differ yk. i'm using a pretty standard 11' panasonic here.
FIRST STEP: TURN! THAT! TV! ON! make sure it's all plugged in, switch the on button, etc.
WHAT YOU NEED (aka what im using)
1x RCA cables!! (an audio adapter for them
1x an AV signal converter
1x media player or whatever you wanna display on the TV. plus all the necessary accessories, such as plugs, games, discs, remotes, etc.
I'm using the CRT to display an animation of mine. so my equipment consists of a USB with the footage, and a media player with all the stuff attached to it.
hmmm there's something familiar about those colors... can't put my finger on it.
crts are kind of outdated, sorry tenna. most standard screens use HDMIs to connect. put those three cables in their retrospective color coded slots in the signal converter.
should i label this as mature content? this feels private
i'm not using audio for mine, but if you are, you might need to use another converter. it basically combines the red and white cables.
plug those cables... but be gentle (i've seen the ends get snapped inside of the tv)
if you haven't already, turn that TV on. make sure it's switched to AV, not TV. there's volume, channel switchers. and the function buttons for things like brightness, contrast, colors. the rest are a mystery
