When Glen had told her to go spend time out of the house, and he'd watch the kids - she was slightly confused about what was going on - she thought that they'd be having a relaxing time as a family, after the craziness over the past couple of weeks, with her performing and working day in and out as the launch for GDY came up. She wanted to protest, but seeing the look on her boyfriends face, she knew to pick her battles. If he wanted to go full dad mode, she couldn't deny him that. Instead, she spent the day with her sisters, with Erica also having some time away from her kids - it was a strange experience for the both of them. When arriving home and not being greeted by the dogs, it was another moment of confusion for Hayley - usually Alf and Brisket would be jumping at her and begging for attention. Hearing her partner call out to check on their littlest - the singer figured he must of been busy with Luna, or the dogs. "Yeah, of course." She called back - wondering what Jasper was still doing asleep at this late hour, and hoped that he would be able to sleep through the night, worried that maybe he was coming down with a cold.
Entering their sons room and seeing him staring back at her, Hayley let out a small laugh. "You just chilling here, buddy?" Walking closer to the crib and seeing the note, Hayley pushed her brows together, still confused as to what was going on. "Should we go see what daddy wants?" The blonde scooped her son into her arms, tickling his tummy and grinning at the laugh he made - it was one of her favorite sounds, hearing her kids laughing. Walking into the kitchen, and seeing their dogs in bowties, another grin formed on Hayleys lips - she still didn't fully know what was going on, although she could tell that Glen had put a lot of effort into whatever he was planning. Moments like this was one of the many reasons that she had fallen in love with him - he always went the extra mile in their relationship. Kneeling down, readjusting Jasper on her hips, she gave attention to the two pups. "He's really sending me on a lil treasure hunt, huh?" Entering the living room and seeing Luna there, with a sign - it took Hayley a moment to realize what it said. She had made a joke a few weeks ago about making her a wife - it was more of an off-handed comment, something that she didn't expect to actually happen. The singer was content with how their life was at the moment, even if the idea of not only sharing her last name with her kids (because she would change it to that) but to be able to call Glen her husband, didn't actually frighten her anymore. They had built an amazing life together, and their relationship was one of trust, and friendship. Hayley also wondered what he had done to bribe Luna to actually sit sill - the almost one year old always seemed to be on the go, and seeing her in the dress - Hayley felt very underdressed for the moment, in one of band shirts and jeans. Maybe she should of listened to her sisters when they told her to get dressed up for the day, but she had wanted comfort, but of course they knew what was waiting for her when she got home.
Kneeling down, the blonde put Jasper next to Luna, and wide grin unable to be wiped off her face. "You asking me to marry your daddy?" She asked, looking at both of her kids. "You know, he actually has to ask me himself, too. But you're both very smart babies for planning this whole thing." The singer knew that Glen had planned all of this, but she could play along with the plan. Hearing him enter the room, Hayley spun around to face the man that she loved. "Hi." She breathed out, hyper aware of what was going on - and she was glad that this moment was just their little family, not something big and out in the open where people would be watching them - even if it was an easy yes for her. "The kids want us to get married." Hayley teased, a small laugh escaping her. She had so many questions to ask Glen - curious about how he managed to plan all of this without her knowing.
