When moonlight crawls along the street Chasing away the summer heat minhyuk and hyosung
He had just gotten off work and snapped a picture of an alley way that was well known in the district due to it’s famous graffiti. This is where his stage would be tonight. He glances around and there was no one there, “Great…” He mutters to himself with a smile. He squats and sets his bookbag on the cement. He preferred the winter. The crisp chill of the wind made it far more comfortable when he dances until his shirts drenched.
Tonight felt like a long night. He would let the lyricless tracks play on and on until his legs felt like jelly and he was left wondering if he could even make it back to his new apartment. “Shit.” He mutters and he pulls the obscure mask over his face, blocking more than a quarter of his features. He lived in a new home and he wasn’t sure how cool his roommates were yet. There was going to be more than a few nights that he would be coming in after normal people sleep. He hoped it wouldn’t be an issue. He’s not too good with confrontation.
He doesn’t wait for an audience. This rhythm gets him whether there’s a crowd around him or hardly a handful of people pass by him. He can’t afford a studio for private practice time and the his old and new room don’t offer viable space for dance rehersal. The street was his dance hall and his practice space. He goes through choreography that’s ingrained in his muscles and tries out new steps, causing the night to go by in what felt like a blink of an eye. In no time, there was more than a crowd. Some people had given tips or donation(or whatever you want to call them) and that jelly feel was in his thighs.
With a bow, he waves and smiles, giving the few people around him a silent thanks. Theres one girl who catches his eyes, he was watching her like there were no distractions around. It was impressive give the sounds of the city, her face was becoming familiar. It had been more than a few time he saw her out for a show. Something told him to be careful, but he wasn’t sure how to take that instinct.
Hyosung's phone dinged loudly as she was working hard on an ethics paper, She would have ignored it and kept working but as she tried to keep writing the words started to blur together. So with a sigh she blinked a few times and picked up her phone to look at it, the notification was just a picture, a location, a promise. A bright and large smile spread on her face. He was going to dance tonight., that mystery man shh.
He had haunted her for months it seemed like always popping in to her head at random times. The way he danced the way he moved, with such passion and just love for the art. To be honest Hyosung had been following him for a while now. The first time she saw him dance was still ingrained in her head and it would most likely be there till she died. Since that fateful night she had gone to every one of his dances that she could.
But the more she watched him dance the more she wanted to be up there with him. It is an indescribable feeling to dance with someone who loves the art as much as you do. For the last month or so she has been trying to figure out who he was and what he did during the day. She wanted to know him, not just the dancer but the man behind the mask.
This want caused her to do some not normally accepted things, like border line stalk the guy. Luckily for him she was a really bad stalker, just when she would think she would have him she would loose him. But watching him tonight she knew this night would be different; she could feel it. Maybe it was the way he looked at her as he took his bows, that familiar smile gracing his face.
She waited for everyone to leave and she made it seem like she was leaving as well. However she just ducked around the corner watching him pack up and leave. Soon she was following him quietly, always keeping him in sight. Which was a lot harder than you would think since he took so many dang turns. A couple of times she thought she lost him only to see his shadow and be on the trial again. She had never gotten this far with out loosing him, would she finally meet the real shh tonight?
