Three mushroom soba noodle soup, Japanese style. I got a pack of beautiful and fresh organic Oyster, Shitake and Enoki mushrooms at the local farmers markets on Saturday! Been planning this meal for a couple of days and it didn't disappoint. The broth is made with dashi, mirin, tamari and a dash of sake! So healing and hearty! Substitute the dashi (Japanese fish stock) for vegetable stock for a vegan alternative. Stir fried mushrooms and veg, served on a bed of organic buckwheat soba noodles. Ladle the broth over, slurp and savour! This is a true winter warmer. If you'd like the recipe just let me know. Xx

Thank you all so much for following our blog! You inspire me and in return I hope to inspire you! Here's to 300 more! Xo Bella
It's WET, WINDY, and COLD here in Canberra, Aus today. Hailing and gailing, the wind that is hehe ^_^ I really needed a 3pm pick me up, I've got three jumpers and the heater on and I'm still cold, it needed to be warm and make me feel cosy. TEA AND TOAST OF COURSE! We are lucky enough to have a great bakery very nearby who sell handmade Quinoa loaf! It's bread without the grains and gluten. Topped with avo and accompanied with a good old cuppa. I feel better.
Detox lunch, curried lentils on wilted baby spinach topped with coriander and avo. Another 5-day Detox friendly lunch. Vegan and gluten-free. Mostly importantly DELISH

We all need at least 2 to 3 LITRES of water every day! But if you're anything like me you get a tad over it... I've been chopping cucumber and tearing mint leaves in to mine lately, I call it fancy water because it just looks like something you'd get served at a country club. It makes those endless litres that much more appealing! :)
love your blog can you help me and follow back
i followed you back hun, but i think it will appear with my personal blog, as HFS is a secondary blog on this account; getvilified xx
Today's breakfast is Linseed and Almond porridge not that you can see it there! It's underneath a cup of berries and a dusting of quinoa puffs. This is a really good example of sugar and gluten free breakfasts that can keep you going through til lunch and taste delish! Can do a recipe if you'd like? In my mug I have green tea, yum. This is all in keeping with Nikki Sharps 'Stay Sharp Be Strong' 5 day detox - see http://www.staysharpbestrong.com/
It's only $8 for the 5 day plan, it's super informative and I found all the ingredients to be readily available, nothing exotic. I'm on day 2 and I've had a little break out which tells me it is working, also mild headaches intermittently, another sure sign my body is detoxing! xx
If you'd like to make your own coconut butter, you can find the recipe here. We recommend Niugini coconut oil.
OMG guys - does this not sound simply devine? Might have to whip this up for a roadtest!
hey friends, yes it's been a long time between posts and I have to apologise for leaving the blog quiet for so long. it's been a busy year for me, exapnding in to wedding photography, studying graphic design full time and working part time!
well i'm back and hopefully i can provide you with more ideas, education and inspiration :)
today for lunch i made smoked salmon and avocado stacks with mesculine, capers and a squeeze of lemon. you should all check out Orgran Crispibread with Quinoa. they're like cruskits only they're organic, made of brown rice and quinoa - 2 slices is only 40cal. I found them in supabarn but i'm sure any good grocer with a decent healthfood isle should stock them.

Food can't talk, but hereâ's what food should say.
"Unfortunately, this label is not about to happen, but it should. Why? Because right now food manufacturers can put whatever mutant food they want in your grocery stores — without labeling. There's no indication if the food in that can of soup is, you know, actually real food. I want a label like this to exist so I can avoid living in a dystopian future where I don't know what goes in my face-hole."
We should be actively seeking for this type of legislation to be passed - this is for America but Australia requires this just as badly.
Preparing my Kale for kale chips! Wash and pat dry then toss with a tablespoon of olive oil and a dash of soy! No need to add salt as the soy brings it's own salty flavour. Bake on 150 degrees until crispy! Better than potato chips!!
