Remember to wear your mask and stay safe. Keep your hearts beating
It beats and I love it .
Small stories and a few facts
I started this blog to write a few memories from my past and to write about things that I like (hearts of course)
I keep getting some messages and Iām not the type of a social person , so since I am not sure when or if I will answer them , Iāll just write some stuff about me .
I was asked if I am into hearts .
Well,I guess so . If Iām posting stories about hearts itās probably because I am into them ;)
The first time I heard my own heartbeat
It was probably when I was around 7 years old and I found a flexible pipe on my yard. Guess what I did ? Put one tip on my chest and the other one in my ear. Then I heard my tiny little pump thumping for the first time.
The first song I heard that had a heart beat in it
Was Guns and roses Coma .
I love listening to songs that mentions about heartbeats , but I do not dare to sing them out loud. Wonder why ...
anyway maybe one day Iāll make a post about these songs .
If I could listen to a singerās heartbeat it will be ...
So hard to chose but it would probably be Ville Valo from HIM š heās slim and probably has a delicious heart sound . Plus heās asthmatic . Would be interesting to listen to his heart .
A female singer would be ...
sorry , canāt think of any right now
An actorās heartbeat i would listen to :
Cillian Murphy. Heās my crush .
He has a movie where he puts a girlās hand over his heart and ask her to feel how fast itās going
That scene was perfection
An actress :
There are many actresses I think they are pretty , but I donāt have specific at the moment . Well, any heart I could listen to is more than welcome
Heartbeat experience at school
I had my heart listened in front of my class for 4 different kids.
The teacher brought a stethoscope and asked us who would like to be auscultated . I was the only one who raised my hand .
I went to the front of the class and my teacher listened to my heart for a couple of minutes and after I remember she called 2 boys and 2 girls and asked to listen to my heart . I was dying to listen to my own heartbeat but I was too shy to ask , lol
I have more stories about school I will share later
There was this boy I was in love when I was 8 years old. My first love.
I was watching him play soccer when he finished his game he came running to me , grab my hand and put it on his chest and I felt his heart beating so strong. He smiled and I started crying , lol
A traumatizing heart experience
Always when a family member ( specially my mother ) listen to my heart or ask me to listen to hers .
I also listened to my cats and dogs heartbeats . I like to compare their hearts , itās funny .
Specially when you are trying to give them a bath and their little hearts are about to burst out their chest .
Dark heartbeat experience
I donāt think Iāve had any ... at least I canāt remember right now
Halloween experience
Yes , I like to dress up as a nurse with a real stethoscope. While I wait for people come to me and ask if itās real and if I can listen to their hearts , or they can listen to their own hearts and of course mine
Drunk experience
Many
One of them I was drinking with a group of friends and I got really drunk .donāt know why and how my friend and I passed out and I woke up with a thumping sound on my ear . Realized I was on her chest on the floor of her living room . I just closed my eyes and rested my head on her chest again where I fell asleep .
Movie with heartbeats , visible pulses , atĆ© thing scenes bother me when Iām watching near someone .
I guess for now thatās it
Iāll keep posting more ...
Some neck pulse... not the best angle but you can see something moving there ;)
Short story II
My friend once was telling me that when she was a DJ about 10 years ago she was playing at a party and there was a Russian girl using drugs.
Almost near the end of the part my friend was drinking and talking to some friends when she heard some screams for help and she immediately went to see what had happened
The Russian girl was passed out on the floor and she had overdosed. People didnāt want to get close or touch her because they seemed to be afraid
My friend kneeled next to the girl and tried to feel her breathing but she couldnāt , so she put her ear on her chest and said her heart was weak and irregular, but still beating .
She started cpr while the ambulance didnāt come . She managed to keep her alive until help came in.
When the ambulance came , paramedics took control and after a few weeks she heard that the girl was doing ok
She said she never felt so scared in her whole life and she was grateful for having cpr classes at school
Thinking...
I really like Stephen King. His stories are amazing , but what I really enjoy is the way he always describes his characterās heartbeat . How their hearts are beating , pounding. I relembre reading IT and he wrote about Bill putting his hand on Bevās left breast and felt her heartbeat.
Also Mercedes when he described Bradyās heartbeat .
There are so many examples I could use here . I wonder is he is a cardiophile or if he just mentions the heartbeats as something very innocent and natural for him
Short story
I had a boyfriend when I was in highschool . He was really cute and used to play in a band. One day he invited me to his house to show me his new guitar .
When I was there he brought me to his room . His parents were working so the house was empty . He had a cold and he couldnāt breathe well.
He mentioned he couldnāt breathe and he was feeling sick . I put my hand on his forehead and he had a fever . He wasnāt burning up , but his skin was hot and reddish .
He lied in bed and said he hated the way he was feeling and said I should be his nurse to take care of him.
ā I donāt need to be a nurse to take care of youā
He laughed and I laid next to him. He was breathing through his mouth. I kinda felt sorry for him being like that and asked if we could play doctor . He didnāt answer , so I told him to let me check his lungs
He sat in bed and took off his shirt . I placed my ear on his back and told him to take a deep breath which he did.
His breathing sounded ok but I could hear his heartbeat . I told him that and he got surprised saying he didnāt know a heart could be listened from the back .
I asked if he wanted to try and see if he could listen to my heartbeat . He agreed and we switched positions . He put his ear on my back and stayed quiet for a while . I could only hear him breathe.
ā you were right ā he said ā I could hear you heart. Itās so funny , I thought it could only be heard through your chest.ā
āRight ? And since you mentioned that, let me check yoursā
ā my heart ?ā He asked kinda surprised
ā I thought we were playing doctor. I think doctors check their patients heartbeats ā
āSure , sure ... come ā
I put my ear on his chest and his heart was strong and fast . Probably due to his fever
I think I forgot about everything and just focused on his pump when he asked
āIs everything ok with my heart?ā
I said yes and also said it sounded beautiful . He laughed and asked to listen to mine .
I leaned my back on his pillow and he laid his head on chest.
āIt sounds so calmā he said and stayed there until I noticed he was sleeping. I didnāt want to wake him up so I let him sleep on my chest .
He woke up after a couple of hours and said he was happy I was there.
It was our first heart moment . We stayed together for about 2 years and unfortunately he had to move out with his parents .
We would always cuddle and listen to each other heartbeats . I still miss his heartbeat.
Last yearās experienceļæ¼
I do not keep these updated as much as I shouldļæ¼, but Iāll try to post more often this year .
Last year I was in the club and suddenly I met this guy . He was strong , good looking and he invited me to come over his place and since I was already interested on him I decided to goļæ¼.
After staying together I took a shower and went back to the room where he was lying on his bed and he told me to come ān lay down with him which I immediately did .I put my head on his chest and I could hear his heart beatingļæ¼ perfectly . His heart was beating so slowly and strong it was amazing to hear that beautiful sound . I also could hear his breathing his chest was moving up and down.
We stayed together the whole night and I was in the clouds listening to his heart and breathing while he was sleeping
Later he told me he was a professional boxer .
I was happy because I found out how a professioal boxerās heart sounded like . And I can only say one thing : perfect !

Memories
One day after school, I should be around 10 at the time and I came back home from school . Of course , I wanted to arrive early so I ran as fast as I could and when I arrived home my grandma gave me a hug and said my heart was pounding super fast and she could feel my strong beats. Then she put her ear against my chest and started listening to it calm down as I was breathing hard trying to catch my breath. After she listened to it for a few minutes she gave me a glass of cold water .
I also remembered one day my aunt bought a stethoscope and she let me listen to her heart and my own, of course. I was walking around with it in my ears trying to listen to everything, how things sounded .
I listened to my grandpaās heart, the dogās heart, catās heart then my cousin came and immediately I put the chest piece in his heart and listened to his strong beats. Then it was his turn to listen to my heart. He mentioned it was beating so fast , after listening to mine he listened to his own and compared our beats . He said his was stronger and slower while mine was super fast.
I also remember one day I was at my friendās house watching a movie then we were laying down on her bed when I decided to rest my head on her chest. Her breathing and slow heartbeat were really calming . I got quiet and she asked if I was sleeping . I said ā no , Iām paying attention to your heartbeatā she laughed and her heart sped up a little bit . She said she had never listened to a heartbeat before, not even her parents, or if she did she couldnāt remember . Then she asked if she could listen to mine and I said yes.
She placed her ear over my pulmonic area and was listening to it for a while. I could feel her breathing on my skin. I hold my breath so she could notice the change of my heartās rythim and she said it was pretty cool . She also said it was a soothing sound and ended up watching the movie while listening to my heartbeat .
Sometimes I ask myself why do I like the sound of a heartbeat so much ? Itās not that Iām addicted to it and have to listen to it everyday day, but there are those moments that I really crave for that sound. Itās kinda weird I think, but also something unique .
I remember when I was a child and feel asleep to the sound of my grandmaās heartbeat or was laying in bed listening to my aunt ās heart. Those moments brought me good memories .
Or when I woke up from a nightmare and someone pulled me against their chest. The heartbeat sounds instantly called me down . I felt safe.
Growing older playing with other kids and feel their strong and fast hearts after a run . Or even feeling or listening to each other hearts for curiosity.
I remember one day I had a toy doctor kit. It came with a plastic stethoscope and neighbor took it of my hands, placed it on my chest and told her friend ā I actually hear the heartbeat pretty wellā
I never forgot those days
My teenage days I used to lay on my friendās chest (and vice versa) and while listening to their hearts we used to have deep and long conversations .
As an adult these feelings never changed . I still like to that . And I think being able to listen and pay attention to the heartbeat of people I care helped me to become the person I am now .
Memories ...
Itās a rainy night and Iām in bed listening to the sound of rain when suddenly Iām aware of my own heartbeat .
The beats are steady and slow but very strong
I have those memories of when I was a kid my mom used to put her ear against my chest and listened to my heart beating .
I also remember listening and feeling so many peopleās hearts with my ear or a stethoscope .
Itās a sound that I love that makes me realize how life sounds . Itās simple but beautiful .
The sound of our blood flowing through our bodies and a machine that canāt stop .
How wonderful is it ?
Until now I do love listening and feeling peopleās heartbeats and itās a feeling that I will carry in my chest until my last heartbeat
