Summary: It wasn’t a perfect life but you had settled into contract killing as well as anyone could be expected to. But when a pink envelope shows up in your mailbox your forced to face a killer who didn’t have to force himself to settle. He was already very well suited to his job. About 4.9k
Warnings: There is mentions of blood, cursing, the reader is going to be fighting for their life. Basically Jinwoo being a really creepy little shit.
Note: This probably could have turned out a thousands times more bloody and creepy but I thought I would get it down light and then maybe one day revisit it. I feel like all IC’s know that Jinwoo would make a really good killer and I’m still hoping he gets a role like this cause god knows I would watch the shit out of it.
“Kitttyyy.”
You closed your eyes and felt a chill up your spine. It wasn’t your actual name, that you kept to yourself. You went by a number instead, well they had assigned you a number. You went by 7 and he, the man who insisted on calling you Kitty had been 28. Before he had decided he was “bored” with the way they did things. When he left he had given you his real name, gigantic eyes close to your face. The brown in them was shining black and empty, “I want you to know Kitty,” his breath had brushed past your face. You stared into his eyes refusing to back down, “they gave me a number but I want you to know my name…” That chuckle, you shivered harder remembering the way his lips parted as he pronounced, “Jinwoo. Don’t forget it ok Kitty? I’m counting on you.”
One single wink and he had been gone. You opened your eyes expecting him to be there, but you were alone in the room and there was a body at your feet. You’re phone buzzed, bringing the steps you had to complete starkly to light. You looked down at the body, a woman, a diplomat’s mistress, or something along those lines. They never gave a full story. You used the toe of your boot to push her over then pulled your phone out.
Say cheese.” You said softly to yourself as you snapped the photo. It took you a moment to tap away at the screen to send it off for confirmation. Then you cleared out.
Love how Qimir is the opposite of normal every single time he meets or re-meets Osha.
Exhibit A: meeting in the apothecary. Biting lip. Getting in personal space. Literally so fucking horny he blows his own cover.
Exhibit B: “Oshhhhaaaaa.” Kills two of her only other potential romantic interests. “This is your master?” Tries to sound cool and immediately gets negged by giant moths, -10000 aura.
Exhibit C: “what extraordinary beings we are” me when I monologue to myself. Covers her in his cloak and just, like, stares.
And finally, Exhibit D: sluts himself out for the greater good (evil) “haha no don’t pin me against the wall haha I won’t be able to move.” Thumb caress.
watching the Acolyte show and i can’t believe they literally named a character Osha and the first thing we find out about her is that she’s breaking Star Wars OSHA by repairing the ship from outside

She kept her eyes closed and her breathing even. The ocean pounded the shore and she let the sound ease some of the tension she held in her shoulders. He had called her name and if she ignored him -
“Osha.”
She rolled her shoulders and neck and tried to direct her mind to stillness. The tide pools were relatively still. She wanted to feel the same way, just for a bit the emotions she let ebb in flow, she needed just a tiny reprieve. Warmth spread throughout her body, her eyes peeled open and she sighed.
“Why are you ignoring me?”
She turned and he was standing off to the side of her in the sand. Strands of his dark hair hung in his face and his eyes tracked across her features. She could feel the tendrils of his power caressing her while he stared. The warmth in her body spread and for the millionth time since she began this path her body…responded when her mind deemed the reaction not wise. Not wise because how could she trust his interest?
“I’m not ignoring you.” She answered. Her voice carried over the waves crashing. He cocked his head and the edge of his mouth quirked up in a smirk she knew well. She had to bear though his smirks multiple times a day and acted unaffected.
“Osha, don’t lie to me.” He pressed. She gave him a smirk of her own and shook her head.
“Lying to you would be a waste of time. We both know that. I heard you, I acknowledged you, now…what is it that you needed to tell me?”
Qirmir had been gone for the last few days. Though they both could sense disturbances through the force, good ole reconnaissance at nearby outposts produced information that was just as useful. He had checked in with a few of his sources to learn the movements of the Jedi in their immediate system. He was suppose to be sharing said information but instead here he was, playing another of his games. Toying with her so that she would have no choice but to give him all of her attention.
Truthfully as soon as his ship had touched down he already had it. She hated when he left her but until she became better at hiding her presence in the Force it made no sense for her to go.The idea of a helmet of her own had crossed her mind but then she felt silly for wanting it so badly. When she was alone it was easier to allow herself to hope…
All she could allow herself was daydreams and they were beginning to feel empty. It was good that he was back. She had missed him but she refused to tell him how missed he was, it would add to the pull that she steadfastly resisted.
He sighed and looked away to the waves, “nothing new to report. We stay hidden from our enemies thankfully.”
She released a breath she didn’t know she was holding.
“That’s good news.”
“It is,” he crouched and considered the water in the tide pools. “We won’t be able to stay hidden forever. Mae will make sure of that, she knows where this place is.”
This was true but time had gone on so long without a hint or whisper of her sister. Sometimes she thought she felt her, lurking in the in between when she felt for the Force. But the feeling would pass whenever she tried to concentrate.
“Can you feel her?” He asked. His dark eyes focused on her. The first time she had those eyes locked with hers she had felt such an onslaught of emotions. Fear had been one but it had receded quickly to be replaced by curiosity, respect, and more lust then she had ever felt in all of her life. It had taken everything to keep herself firmly set on the mission. She had been sent for a confession and nearly melted when he leaned in close to tell her how much she looked like Mae. The memory always brought the feeling of his breath brushing her face to mind.
The warmth she usually felt around him crawled up her neck.
“No.” She pronounced.
“Pity.” He whispered. Was it? She didn’t want to face her sister. She had a list of people she never wanted to see again, Mae rested near the top of that. Along with…Sol. She winced at the thought of her old Master and Qimir like always caught her discomfort. His eyes narrowed. He edged closer then crouched down besides her. His jaw clenched, “who are you thinking of Osha?” His voice was always a velvet wrapped blade when he had any hint of her thinking of Sol. Something about it made her heart beat harder, not in fear, but in anticipation. The need to defy his possessive annoyance thrummed through her.
“No one.” She whispered. The man you hate.
“I don’t like,” he reached his hand towards her, “when your mind strays to people it shouldn’t.”
She sat still and faced his barely contained annoyance. His fingers grazed her cheek and she felt the touch like all of his touches. A zing of electricity through her veins. It made her want to lean into his hand. But again she fought him with every bit of her concentration.
“I am the master of my own thoughts.” She held his eyes. “Not. You.”
She swallowed as his eyes narrowed further. She turned back to the ocean, to the waves and the tide pools. His hand lingered and she wondered if today would be the day that one of them broke. He was always more inclined to touch her when he had been gone. Almost as if he had to make sure that she was still with him. Maybe he got out amongst the stars and feared she had lied, that she really wasn’t going to stay with him in place of Mae. Osha liked the idea of her disappearance worrying him. She liked that he missed her, liked that he seemed to need her in his sights once he was back and maybe if she was less wary everything would be easy but her memory was too long. One man she loved had betrayed her in the worse possible way. How could she let another have a chance at it?
“Maybe,” she licked her bottom lip and his eyes tracked the action, “you are thinking of people you shouldn’t.”
For a moment neither of them moved. His eyes were like two sparking flints. He pulled his hand back slowly. Do you want me the way I want you?
The thought had her steeling her mind against him. She rolled her shoulders back and sighed.
“Think about it while you eat.” She pushed, “I made stew.”
Then she closed her eyes again, determined to balance her roiling emotions. She could not give into this pull between them. He often told her it was a waste of time.
“You have to let yourself feel Osha.” He liked to say, especially when he bested her over and over again. He was patient in his explanations, no matter how many times he needed to repeat it to her. There was no way to unlock her power without truly feeling everything the Jedi taught her to suppress.
But the idea terrified her. When she allowed herself, she felt so much. She felt out of control when she gave in and she couldn’t trust her feelings for Qimir. Partly because she could already sense how powerful their attachment could be and she refused to be weak to another man. He would have all the power if she gave in and became tied to him. There was no guarantee he would give anything in return.
She would need to find some other way to grow stronger in the Force. Her power was her own, even though Qirmir had helped her tap into it.
His help did not mean he didn’t have an ulterior motive. She had been fooled by Sol, made to think that she was the one who failed, when it had been he who failed her. The thought made her pinch her eyebrows together. The crashing waves, she clenched her teeth together and focused on the sound. She concentrated until the warmth from his power left her entirely to her meditation. A strange sense of unease trailed after him.
Osha preferred to keep her days more or less regimented. She woke up before the sun, ate a meal, meditated inside the cave, then drills with Qirmir (if he was on the island), then stretching after their drills. Once those tasks were done she checked her snares and fish traps for food then went about making sure their supplies were in good order. She had set herself on these tasks as Qirmir seemed content to only focus on their training and gathering information. She wondered how Mae had faired especially since she imagined her sister wouldn’t have the patience for something like supply inventory.
It was something to think about as she stretched. Their sparing a few mornings after his return felt odd to her but not odd enough that she wanted to dwell. He sat a small distance away from her, again she could feel him probing, trying his best to gain a little insight on where her mind was focused. At the beginning she wondered what he searched for, then she told herself the easy answer was weakness. Mae had betrayed him, of course he searched for another betrayal.
She bent forward touching her toes, she exhaled slowly, with the action. She stood straight then twisted her waiste one way then the other. Then she settled into a long lunge leaning her body forward on her bent knee, her eyes found Qimir's. He was smirking, head cocked, his hair falling a little into his eyes. He had forgone a shirt of this training session and she couldn't stop herself from admiring his chest. The usual heat crept from her face lazily down until it settled low in her belly. The heat from a sun they barely saw was making her think things she shouldn’t. Like what would it be like to sit in his lap and trace her fingers over his… She swallowed and tracked a bead of sweat that skimped down his stomach. He cleared his throat and her eyes snapped back up to his. The familiar pull started as he watched her.
"Does doing all that really help?" He asked. She shrugged and switched her legs for another lunge. He titled his head the other way and his eyes tracked from her feet up to her face deliberately. How can he make her feel this way just with his eyes? She swore she could feel his gaze like a touch. It was always like this, the attraction almost felt like a dare, a test. If she gave in, what would she get? Part of her knew that he wouldn't hurt her. His touches never felt like a threat, more like a promise.
"You're telling me," she leaned back sighing as her spine popped, "that you've never ever stretched after training? You never feel stiff?"
He shrugged and for a moment it looked like he was enjoying a good private joke. It took her a moment to realize her word choice before she felt a blush burning her cheeks.
“I do, but I use different…methods to deal with it.” He bit his bottom lip and she knew she was blushing harder then before.
He leaned back against the tree trunk, his eyes tracking her movements in what felt like satisfaction. Usually he left her during her stretching but today he waited. Tracked every bend and stretch she put herself into while she tried her best to ignore him.
"There's a freshwater pond not far from here." He stated, "the water would do wonders for your muscles I bet.”
She smirked and tried to calm the slight pounding of her heart.
"You've been hiding a pond from me?" She asked as she bent over to touch her toes. Her locs swung with the action and she mused that it might be time for a slight trim. When she stood straight again he was up. He shrugged and turned towards a denser part of the forest.
"Hiding?" He looked at her from over his shoulder, "it's not my fault you never thought to look."
She rolled her eyes but gathered herself to follow as he set off into the trees.
“You know, when I use to wonder the beaches you got all bent out of shape about it.” She reminded him as they trudged forward. He sighed and stopped, “you were wandering where the tide is treacherous, the beach is nothing but rocks and you weren’t agile enough to navigate it in the dark.”
“No faith in your student?” She asked. It was meant to be a tease but she wondered if he regretted taking her. He cocked his head in his favorite way and smirked at her.
“I’ll never regret taking you and I hope you never regret agreeing to stay.”
Then he was turning and starting to walk again, “that’s not something that should occupy your mind. Of all the emotions you need to fuel your power…regret is the one to avoid.”
Even when she tried her best to guard her thoughts Qimir had an unfailing ability to figure out what she was musing. It was her face, she needed to be better about leaving it relaxed and aloof.
“Osha?” He began.
“Hmm?”
“You waste so much time hiding from me. How can I train you in the Force my way if you won’t show me those emotions you stamp down?” He asked. Her first reaction was to deny. It would be the easiest thing to do. But it was easier to admit the truth without his dark eyes piercing her.
“It feels like, if I give in, if I admit a truth or two to myself, that I’ll be in the same position as I was with the Jedi.” She didn’t say Sol’s name but he was all she could picture. Sol looking at her in disappointment, shaking his head when she couldn’t find stillness in her thoughts.
“How do I know that if I fail in your teachings I won’t be thrown away again?” He stopped walking and she nearly walked right into him.
“I’m not able to let you go.” He said simply. She stared at his back almost as if she could find answers in his scars. She hated the idea of him hurting the way this wound must have. The Jedi had done it, she somehow knew it for a fact. They threw them both away. But now he was telling her he wouldn’t Not able to let her go?
She swallowed and tried her best not to let hope fill her chest. He meant he couldn't let her power or potential go. That's all she was to men in the galaxy. An anomaly, a swirling mystery in the Force that drew people in but it would always be a draw with the desire to possess her. There wasn't anything interesting about Osha the girl, Osha who failed to be a Jedi and became a Mektek. Qimir was like everyone else, to expect differently would only bring pain. She tried to breath in more resolve but there of course was a treacherous part of her heart that whispered he wanted her in every way he could have her. And not Osha the power but Osha the woman.
"Your mind is so busy." His voice was low. Barely high enough to hear over their steps though the forest.
"I'm-"
"Don't lie, please keep telling me the truth Osha." He warned. They broke through the trees together and suddenly were on the shore of a very calm looking pond. It was bigger then she thought it was going to be. Closer to a lake then a little swimming hole. The water was still, fed by a small rocky waterfall across from them. The sun shone down on the water in a rare clearing of the clouds and for a moment the scene was too tranquil for her to disturb it with words. She felt pulled towards the water and before she could think too hard about the action she began to remove her clothing. He had seen glimpses of her body, and she had seen more then a few glimpses of his, a body was a body she told herself. She still blushed when she finished folding her things and felt his eyes on her back.
"Osha?"
She ignored him and took two steps into the water. It wasn't as cold as she thought it would be, her arms raised reflexively over her breasts as goosebumps raised on her skin. A few more steps in and the ground dropped off, her legs kicked in automatically to keep her head above the water line. It didn't take him long to follow. She heard the splash of his body entering. Soon they were treading water side by side. He had dipped his head, his wet hair plastered back away from his face.
"Osha?"
She sighed and tried to think of what to say. He wanted more truths and she couldn’t keep avoiding him forever. Eventually her training would hit a wall, logically she knew not giving into her feelings would be much like the anchor that stopped her from completing her Jedi training. Qimir's eyes were pleading as he used his arms to swim closer to her.
"Can I show you something?" He asked. Her brows scrunched in confusion, she looked around in an effort to see what he could possibly show her. His signature smirk appeared again, one side of his mouth tipping in amusement.
He swam right up to her, close enough that she felt his movements in the water, legs kicking close to her own, arms doing the same movements.
"Depends on what the something is?" She hedged. She still felt the need to speak softly, the incredible quiet of the clearing felt like it needed preserving. They shared glances, his eyes brushing all across her face before landing on her lips.
"I want to provide some reassurance." He explained He licked his own lips before his eyes flicked back to hers "humor me." He pushed. A trick? A trap? Some kind of test? She took a breath and let herself trust him if only for a moment. He felt her acceptance, his smirk growing into a full blown smile.
"Close your eyes and float on your back."
Insead of being embarrassed about her exposed body, she did as he said. She closed her eyes and let her body float in the water belly button pointed to the sky like she was taught. Her awareness of their presence in the force sharpened, her breath came slower, and she sank into the quiet further. He held a hand on each of her temples, the Force crackled through his fingers and suddenly she was seeing.
A shop.
A hand turning a flower bulb left then right before her eyes tracked to the doorway of whatever building she was in. No, not Osha. This was a memory, Qimir's memory. The shop from their first meeting, any minute she would walk through the door and they would have the exchange that changed everything. Anticipation filled her whole body, this is what I felt…
His voice drifted through the memory, distinct over the sounds from the street.
What he felt? His heartbeat picked up and then there she was. A cloak over her locs and a very pained attempt at nonchalance on her face.
Breathtaking, perfect…
She saw herself through his eyes and felt all the emotions he had to keep quiet. They were like the waves on the beach, pounding through his body in lulls and crests.
Devotion, longing, burning curiosity, awe…
“Qimir,” she whispered his name and slowly felt herself returning to her body. She opened her eyes and found him staring down at her.
“That was just me seeing you Osha.” His eyes were so open, she must have been looking into his soul. The dark place he kept his most precious vulnerabilities.
“You could have been completely Force blind and I would have still wanted you.”
He rubbed his fingers into her scalp in circular motions.
“The fact that you are a literal shinning star in the Force is just a bonus Osha, it just means our connection will be all the stronger.”
She swallowed and tried to will the tears away, they streaked down the sides of her cheeks and into the water.
“You’re mine Osha.” He enunciated each word, she felt them throughout her body bringing peace to her spiraling thoughts. All the worries that he only would want her for power settled.
“Can you accept me? Can I be yours?”
Again the eyes like a window to his soul, she fell into them and felt like she was drowning. Waves of feeling rolling through and over her, she took them and understood there was no turning back now. She swallowed and began to nod, “you’re mine.” She said in a choked whisper.
“I will not throw you away and I will not let you fail Osha.” He pronounced.
“How can you promise I won’t fail?” She asked. He leaned down, shifting her locs to the side and pressed his lips to her forehead.
“Because there is no one way to manipulate the Force, stop holding onto the Jedi’s lies.”
They were moving, he was guiding their bodies closer to shore so he could stand. He gathered her in his arms, wet skin against wet skin and sat with her in his lap. She faced him and let her surrender fill her heart. It didn’t feel like she was losing, didn’t feel like her will was being ignored. She felt…relief.
“If one way doesn’t work we’ll just find another way, Osha, it’s simple.” His hands traced down her arms, the movement deliberate and sure, “the first step is you allowing yourself to feel it all. Emotions are your source,” he leaned forward. They held each other’s eyes, her breath hitched as his lips pressed into her sternum right between her breasts. The touch set a slow burning fire through her blood. She wrapped her arms around his neck, her hands settled into his hair. She tugged gently and a shudder racked him, his eyes were half lidded.
“Thank you.” She pressed her forehead to his, “for being so patient with me. I just- “
“You don’t have to thank me. After what we’ve been through…I would have waited for as long as it took.”
His hands traveled up then down her back. It was Osha who tipped her chin and touched her lips to his. The simmering warmth her body had been steeping in, exploded, shot through all of her limbs in such an alarming blast she could only hold on. He kissed her back as if he was born to do it. His hands moved from her back to framing her face. He nipped at her bottom lip then groaned when she tasted him with her tongue.
“Do you know how long I’ve imagined this?” He pulled an inch away and spoke while he pecked her lips with little kisses. She smiled, “no, how long?”
“From the moment you said that you wanted to see me.” He chuckled at the memory of her forced delivery, “I wanted to kiss the nervousness right out of you.”
He dove in again tasting her while he rubbed his thumbs on her cheeks. He tipped her head up then kissed and licked at her neck. She gripped his head and pulled him closer into her skin. Her hips rocked and she felt his hardness tucked right against her stomach.
“I need…I need…” She whimpered when his mouth finally enclosed one of her nipples. He sucked and she writhed hard in his lip.
“I know what you need,” he nipped then moved to her other breast. She had flings before on didn’t ships. But a quickie on a cot in a space freighter this was not. He pulled slightly away despite her trying to hold him to her body. His hands moved to her waist and he leaned further back so he could look at her perched on his lap.
“Can I -”
“Yes,” she answered frantically, “yes, just please, I need you.” She rocked again on his lap, her wet center slicking down his length teasing them both. He hissed his fingers finding the bundle of nerves right above where she needed him most. He rubbed in frantic circles, her back arched and she cried up at the sky. She couldn’t stop herself from shuddering but she needed more. Her body ached for him empty where she needed him to fill her.
The fingers circling her clit dipped gently into the wetness at her entrance.
"Mmmm, so wet for me." He said softly. Her hips canted into his touch and she sobbed when she felt two of his fingers finally filling her channel. She had never felt so out of control, the clearing, the water it all felt like another world. Her world had shrunk to his fingers moving back and forth inside of her. She was only panting breaths and a thrumming energy that climbed higher and higher. Distantly she supposed she was speaking, calling to him, whimpering, pleading. She moved with him urging him faster, soon soon soon she would tip all the way over the edge. She clenched around him and he murmured a curse into her skin. He leaned forward and captured one of her nipples again.
"Oh god." She cried.
Let. Go.
His voice echoed in her mind and then he bit her nipple twisted and hooked his fingers inside of her and she saw stars.
Osha shook and whimpered in his arms while her vision hazed around the edges and her cries became hoarse.
"Your mine." He kissed all along her chest. His own breaths were sawing out of him, she wondered if it would always feel like this? Would he always be able to make her body sing?
"Yours." She agreed, she was coming down from her high, reason returning by inches. She looked down into his eyes and saw the same awe he had showed her in his memory. He looked at her like she was a goddess, his goddess. He removed his fingers and she held his eyes as he set them into his mouth to taste her.
“You taste good.” He observed and a blush crawled up her chest. She looked away and tried not to let his statement cause her too much satisfaction. His hand wrapped around her throat gently, his head tilted and he smiled up at her.
“Really not the time to act shy.” He chuckled, “especially since we’re nowhere near done.” He gave her throat a gentle squeeze.
“Oh yeah?” She sounded breathless but her voice didn’t waver even as her heart pumped in anticipation.
“Yeah Osha.” He pulled her closer for another kiss, his other arm was busy. He wrapped his arm around her, “up.” He whispered as he pulled her up to her knees. She felt like she was floating anticipation jamming through her veins like a drug. He was a man possessed, his eyes burned into hers. He’s mine. The thought played on repeat until he began pulling her down. All her thoughts fizzled out when he began to breach her. The lower she sank the more gone Qimir looked, she finally sat all the way onto his lap and his eyes rolled back.
“Fuck..”
She was full of him and it felt like heaven. There were no more spiraling thoughts no worries, just two souls joined together in the sand.

The evening was going…
You weren’t sure where it was going but it was definitely going. It definitely felt like full speed ahead. An hour ago you thought you would be naked with Hanse already. If you were being honest with yourself you hoped you both would be naked by now. But no,
Instead you were in an unfamiliar slightly seedy elevator of a very ominous office building. Hanse was at least holding your hand as the two of you ascended and the staticy speaker played what sounded like music. There were some things to think about in the seedy elevator.
“So this is gonna sound a little crazyy…”
And in theory you were sure you could handle anything. You raced cars for a living, under the radar of the police for prize money, legality wasn’t something you were nervous about. So when he had begun his explanation with that your chief thought had been what’s the big deal?
The big deal (if you were processing everything correctly) was that Hanse wasn’t human.
He was broadly a demon. Specifically an Incubus.
“Don’t worry I’ve never ever hurt a human.”
That information wasn’t impossible to believe. Every single partner you knew of at the races never disappeared after spending time with him.
The second part of the explanation was more confusing. Apparently Hanse was far from a one off. There was a whole parallel world of demons and supernatural creatures that lived in conjunction with humans without them knowing.
This was a lot to fathom. A whole other side of the world existing. He was taking you further into that other side because you had agreed to a little adventure. A little adventure. This felt more then little.
The speaker in the elevator gave up just as the doors dinged open. He squeezed your hand, his eyes were wide as he gazed at you. You felt like you could fall into the darkness of them.
“You’re taking this all very calmly.” His face settled into a soft smile, “I'm proud of you.”
You felt a blush spreading across your cheeks as he pulled you through the doors, “did you expect me to freak out?”
“I almost expected you to tell me to fuck off.” He chuckled.
“I already said I was down for an adventure.” You pushed. The hallway was dingy but it all seemed to be due to the poor lighting. From what you could tell things seemed at least clean.
“Yeah but you thought it was gonna be a sexy adventure.” He wiggled his eyebrows at you.
“Granted, but I agreed without you confirming it was gonna be sexy.”
His pace slowed and he came to a stop in front of a board attached to the wall.
Suite numbers were listed next to innocuous looking names like Rodgers and Phillips. You frowned expecting something a little more creepy like the lighting.
“Here he is,” Hanse worried the ring in his lip while he spoke softly to himself.
“You forgot the suite number?”
He turned to you and shrugged, “I don’t get many jobs from him anymore.”
“You pissed him off didn’t you?” You leaned forward, “you strike me as someone bosses would avoid.”
He chuckled again and made a thinking face, “I didn’t do anything,” he claimed.
“Oooooooo so you did piss him off..” Bantering felt much much better then trying to process all of the new information sitting in your mind. He pulled you along turning left at the sign. This hallway had slightly better lightening but not by much. You felt safe with Hanse which again made no sense but this was the path you were on apparently. He stopped in front of a boring looking door and knocked.
“Come in,” a voice chirped. He started to push the door open then stopped, “you sure? Once they know you know there’s no going back.” His face was close enough for you to gauge his worry.
“You think I can’t handle it?” You whispered, a little challenge in your voice. His face tipped into a smile, “just cause I have an oral fixation,” he leaned further forward, “doesn’t mean you get to put words in my mouth.”
You rolled your eyes and gently started to push him forward, “kind of a long way to go for that joke.”
He pouted a bit the door coming open behind him, “I thought it was funny.”
“You make everything harder then it has to be.”
The man in the chair was objectively beautiful. It was hard for you to do anything but stare. His skin was perfectly smooth, pale and taught over high features, his eyes were dark and vast sort of like Hanse’s without any warmth. His hair was dark navy blue, combed back. He sat behind an ornate wooden desk that was beyond neat. The name plate on his desk read simply, “Boogeyman.” The whole office spoke of someone who demanded order. It made you feel like you had to sit very straight in your chair.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Hanse was sitting a touch closer in a different chair, completely unaffected.
“You brought a human here.” The other man stated clearly. He shrugged, “she’s in the know, it’ll be fine.” He assured him.
“Hanse.”
“Seungwoo.” Hanse countered with the same gravity.
“Have some respect say my name properly.” Seungwoo’s gaze was becoming a glare.
“So sorry Snoo forgive me, now tell me what you summoned me for.” Hanse got all of one laugh out before Seungwoo’s eyes went from black to red. They burned into his face and his next sentence was spoken with incredible restraint.
“Boogeyman, I am The Boogeyman.”
You shivered, it felt like he could snap your neck in an instant. Maybe you should have waited in the waiting room with the nice receptionist? All of his attention was focused on Hanse but that didn’t mean you were safe. He stopped your impending panic by giving in, “yes, you are The Boogeyman….happy?”
The man in question bared what looked like fangs at Hanse before his eyes faded from red back to black, “don’t try and show off for your little friend.” His voice was even but it felt dangerous. He looked at you for the first time since you sat down, “how much in the know are you?” He asked. Those eyes, so deep. You shivered and tried to put together a response. It seemed important that you were respectful.
“She knows enough, can we get back to the job,” Hanse leaned forward, “you’re cutting into my time.” He scratched his neck, the picture of nonchalance. Seungwoo rolled his eyes and sat back in his chair.
“It’s a delivery for a very major demon.” He stood and walked around to the other side of his desk. “It’s also short notice but a rush job,”
“Of course.” Hanse quipped. “It’s always a rush job I swear…”
“Well everyone else rejected the summons so-”
“Wait that's an option?!” You hadn’t meant to say it out loud. You had meant to quietly, well maybe loudly yell it inside of your head. But it had slipped past your mouth. The Bogeyman in question looked up at you, he tilted his head in confusion. Hanse turned his eyes sparkling, “you said yes remember?”
“Because I thought you had to do this, like you would be in some kind of trouble if we didn’t show up!”
“I should have explained, I was trying to be fun and mysterious.” He actually laughed at that. He was the most unserious man, well, demon.
“Fun and mysterious?!!” You echoed loudly. Seungwoo cleared his throat. You held up your hand automatically warning him to wait, “two seconds.” You stated while you focused on Hanse.
“You really are a mess.” You blurted out, your heart started to hammer when a slow smile crept its way across his face. His tongue snuck out to worry his lip ring, “clean me up?”
“Hanse?!” Your stomach did a lazy flip and the feeling went decidedly south. The situation was so ridiculous, you could not entirely wrap your mind around it.
“Are you done?” Seungwoo did not look pleased. He rubbed his hand along his jaw, “the sooner I get the job explained the sooner you both can get the hell out of my office.” He sounded so exasperated, like he regretted Hanse showing up.
“Snoo, you know you missed me…” Hanse joked. The past five minutes in the office had been more than enough time for you to predict “Snoo” losing his temper. His eyes turned red again and his fingernails hit an instant growth spurt, becoming sharper, deadly. His fangs were on full display when he finally spoke.
“You fucking annoying disrespectful-”
“Focus!” You shouted, “the job!?” You squeaked once his attention was on you. For the second time the Bogeyman eyed you like you really were some sort of oddity, then he looked down again at Hanse, “I need you to deliver a few artifacts,”
“Easy.” Hanse declared. The Bogeyman rolled his eyes, “that’s not all, the shipment also includes a hellhound.”
This shut Hanse up very effectively. He started to bounce his leg, and chew his lip.
“How far?” He spat out like a spoiled child. This made Seungwoo smile, and what a smile. His smile felt like a warning, something wicked. You thought, you wondered for a moment if Hanse was capable of that too. Under all his teasing and warmth what was there? A monster with sharp fangs? You fidgeted with your hands and tried your best to file that thought away for later.
“Just a few hours,” Seungwoo provided, “his gated community is north of here near the coast.” Why was his voice so silky now? He had been terrifying not a minute ago. “Everything will be warded so you can’t activate them, and the hellhound is wearing a warded collar that under no circumstances comes off. Are we clear?” He leaned down getting closer to Hanse’s face. The tension filled the room with electricity.
“You do this and do it well and it will be worth a lot to us both.” He brushed some of Hanse’s hair out of his face then turned to me, “and you,” he stepped closer, his head cocked as if he was really looking at you with his deep eyes. You felt your face heating up in a blush. Which was odd, considering the circumstances.
“The more people you tell about this world the harder your life will be.” He got close enough to gently take your jaw in his hand. His grip wasn’t painful but there was power in the way he raised your head to meet his eyes. His perusal was slow and calculated, “hope you’re good at secrets.”
Everything about Hanse’s world seemed to be a knife’s edge. You were trying to balance yourself after the Bogeyman’s office. You had been genuinely afraid, what if you weren’t good at secrets? What if he found you when Hanse wasn’t with you?
“What are you afraid of?” You turned and Hanse was staring at you with such concentration your answer froze in your throat. You swallowed, and tried again to speak, “he doesn’t go around scaring people like the Bogeyman from the stories right?” You asked. You were in the lobby of the creepy building, he was going to retrieve the things you had deliver for the job. But he had stopped dead when the fear started bubbling up. He took your hand gently and stepped closer in front of you.
“He doesn’t. You don’t have to worry about seeing him again.” He took your hands in his and raised them to his lips. The action made you shiver, from fear back to something like lust. You felt like a mess watching him kiss your knuckles, “you’re safe with me, don’t be afraid.”
“Can you feel my emotions?” There were so many questions bouncing around in your mind. He let your hands go and nodded, “I smell and taste them.” He confessed, “I can also alter them but that’s only when I’m at full strength, and very near.” He added. Then he was turning again, “your fear tastes like the sharpest peppermint I’ve ever had on my tongue, it burns.”
“I’m sorry-”
“No, don’t apologize, I just thought you were going to ask me what fear tastes like.”
He stopped right in front of the lobby desk. A huge man, or you guessed a man shaped thing lifted a backpack onto the desk. Then walked around with a leash in his hand. Truthfully you thought the Hellhound would be huge, black, and terrifying. Maybe it would be a massive mastiff or a doberman? You found yourself leaning over trying to catch a glimpse. A puppy fought the man’s pull on the leash. It was black so you were partially right. It growled with everything it could manage in it’s little body as it sat on the linoleum floor getting dragged. Hanse extended his arm as far away from his body to take the leash. Once handed over the man grumbled his way back over to his desk, “goodluck.” You heard him say. Hanse looked down at the small black dog then back at the man, “this is the hellhound?”
The man nodded and made a dismissive motion with his hand, “yeah that’s it, now get out of here before I catch hell from upstairs.”
“I guess, I expected, you know, a big ole slobbering Hellhound. Not the cutest little dumpling I’ve ever seen…” You rubbed your nose with the puppy’s while he tried his best to lick you. We were hurtling along on the freeway headed north. There wasn’t much scenery to see at night and besides you had more than enough to concern yourself with. Hanse did not seem thrilled, he grimaced in the driver’s seat while you cooed and coddled your new friend.
“Hanse?”
“Hmm?” He hummed as he glanced your way.
“Is The Bogeyman an Incubus too?” You asked, the cutest little dumpling was curled onto your lap. He yawned before settling into what felt like a nap. Hanse shook his head, his grimace morphing into a smirk, “he wishes.” He said simply.
“Snoo can morph, change his shape to look like any being he wants.” He explained.
“Is what we saw in the office actually what he looks like?” Now that the initial shock was more or less gone, you had five million questions to ask and since the drive would be a couple of hours it seemed like a good time.
“Yes, give or take?” He rubbed his jaw, “whenever I’ve seen him change he always reverts back to that form so as far as I know that’s his actual face.” He granted. You noticed there were dark circles under his eyes, he brushed a hand over his face as he stared out at the road his car was speeding down. His eyes were low, he must be tired. You leaned towards him.
“Are you tired?” You put your hand on his arm, “you want me to drive?” This earned another smile, his tongue peeked out to worry his lip ring, “I’m not tired.” He inhaled long, holding his breath and savoring it.
“I’m hungry.” He corrected. The way he said it felt,..suggestive. You frowned, “get off the freeway and hit a drive through then?” It seemed like an easy fix.
“Food won’t help.” He said. You caught the way his eyes cut to your legs, “do you know what I thrive on?” What he thrived on? The answer seemed obvious but a lot had happened and your higher brain power was focused on everything else.
“What you thrive on?” You repeated softly. He left one hand on the steering wheel while he gently rested the other on your thigh. He was careful not to disturb the puppy, his big hand squeezed with the perfect amount of pressure. A jolt ran up your spin, you almost jostled the Hellhound.
“Maybe we should have the little dumpling ride in the back for a bit?” He pushed his hand a little higher up your thigh and tipped his head your way, “but he’s all comfy…” The whisper slipped passed your lips but it felt silly to protest. One touch and here was your body ricocheting back to what you had felt in his apartment. The slow burn started in your stomach then took a fun trip south to where his hand rested on your thigh. You tried to ignore the need to rub your thighs together because now really wasn’t the time. The delivery was on a time crunch. There was just no way but it was impossible to hide the change from him. His body picked it up instantly, he literally hummed in satisfaction.
“I have a blanket back there, little dumpling will still be nice and comfy.” His voice had dropped an octave, “I can pull over, we’ll settle him, then if you’re still feeling charitable maybe I can have just a little taste.” He squeezed again, “just enough so I’m not so…useless.”
He licked his lips, “but of course, the choice is yours.” He glanced at you again, “the choice is always yours.”
It wasn’t hard to believe him. In all the time you two had existed at the races there had never been a point when you deemed him a liar. Unserious and maybe sometimes annoying but not a liar. The silence killed his smile and he started to take his hand away, “but I get with everything you’ve seen tonight if it’s a no go.”
“I didn’t say that, don’t be impatient, I’m thinking.” You pushed. “You said if I’m still feeling charitable and,” you got as close to his ear as you could, “maybe I’m feeling just charitable enough.”
The car immediately began to slow down. He down shifted almost violently and aimed his car for the exit that was coming up.
“I am not a choosy beggar,” he said and that made you smile.
You laughed as he picked up the Hellhound and walked with him held out away from his body.
“Come on Dumpling it’s my turn with those legs.” He moved quickly around the car and settled him right in a blanket in the back seat, “see isn’t that comfy?” He cooed, you turned in your seat, “are you afraid of him?
“Very,” he gave the puppy one cautious pat before he closed the door. Then he was striding back around to your side.
“Why?” You asked when he stood in front of the passenger door hand on the handle. “Without that collar,” he popped the door all the way open, “he would be kinda like a corrections officer, and I would be an inmate out of bounds.” That made a certain sort of sense. He had found a warehouse to park behind, there were lights but he had chosen a spot that was as private as he could get. Your heart hammered when he kneeled next to the car. It was like you could feel his energy vibrating just under the service, “You have no idea how good you smell.” He whispered. The back seat probably would have been more comfortable but the two of you were trying to be quick. He used both hands to turn your legs towards him. His hands tickled at the back of your knees before snaking up to the waistband of your leggings. Butterflies fluttered in your stomach from the brush of his fingers against your skin.
“All you have to say is stop.” He tipped his chin up and looked you in your eyes, “once you say stop it’s over ok?”
“Ok.”
“I mean it.”
“Ok.” You answered again. This was the most serious you had ever seen him, he wet his lips and pulled.
The left turn your evening was taking was a little astonishing if you thought about it or actually when you could think about it. Cause with Hanse’s face buried between your thighs how could you really bother to think about anything? Your hand was gripping his hair tight, “oh god.” Slipped passed your lips when his tongue circled your clit while he hummed. The jolt that ran up your spin probably would have dislodged him if he hadn’t had a firm needy grip on your waist. His lips closed around your little bundle of nerves and he ever so gently sucked. Your eyes closed, and you couldn’t stop yourself from grinding forward, “Hanse..”
He pulled away for the briefest moment then flattened his tongue against you and licked. One long swipe from your dripping opening right back up to your clit.
“You taste like the sweetest candy.” He whispered against your skin, “and it makes me wanna drag this out but…” He pushed to open your legs wider, he hand felt impatient.
You were whimpering, shaking under him. He took one hand from your hip and that was the only warning you had before he pushed two fingers into you. He hooked them finding your spot instantly, his pace was hurried but not painful. He worked his fingers back and forth his mouth back on your clit, sucking and flicking until you felt your back bow. For some reason you wanted to watch. You peeled your eyes open and looked down.
Sin incarnate stared back at you. His lips were tipped up in a smile as he ate you, his eyes were glowing silver, the color nowhere near the dark brown you were use to.
“Hanse, it feels so good.” You whispered. His eyes glowed brighter and the grip he had on your hip tightened. You would bruise but it would be a beautiful reminder. He pushed faster, shook his head a fraction back and forth against you while he sucked and that was all it took. It rolled through you like a set of warm waves. You held his head against you shuddering, saying his name, tears at the corners of your eyes. It took you both a moment to move. He sat back on his heels and closed his eyes.
You had never fed an Incubus before, so of course you had no frame of reference for what happened next. The bags under his eyes disappeared, he cracked his neck first one way then the other while he sucked on the two fingers he had used inside of you. He rolled his shoulders back and groaned.
“I can’t believe how good you taste.” He murmured. Then he shivered and you were treated to his gaze again his eyes were still silver, still shining brightly.
“You wanna know something?” He pushed his hand through his hair while he watched you fix your leggings.
“What?” You asked on a shaky breath. It felt sort of like the endorphins you got when you exercised. You weren’t tired per say truly you were ready for more, but there was no time.
“I’ve never been so well fed…” he said softly. He licked his lips as if he was savoring a flavor, “we’re fucking rushing to do this delivery.” He sounded certain. You turned and slid your legs back into the car, “I know.”
“Because if that was a taste…”
“Hurry up or you’ll never get the whole meal.” It felt like the corniest joke but he threw his head back and laughed at the sky. Amused that you had beat him to it.
His power was coursing just under his skin, it felt like his whole body was bursting with it. All from one tiny orgasm? He hadn’t even had time to use his best tricks. To drag out the pleasure and have you soak in it. He really had expected to only get a taste of energy from you but here he was sitting next to you at full strength. His senses were sharper, the night time darkness didn’t affect his sight as he pushed his car along. It wouldn’t be long now. He couldn’t wait to drop the backpack and the-
“Who has the pinkest tummy ever? Hmmm?”
He groaned and glanced to see you tickling the Hellhound’s very pink tummy. “Really?” He rubbed at his jaw with one hand, “you’re baby talking him now?”
Had it been up to him the little precious dumpling would have stayed in his back seat snuggled in the blankets but you insisted…and he was beginning to sense he couldn't deny you.
“I can’t help it, he’s so cute it’s beyond my control.” You continued to coo and tickle, “I mean look at his little tiny fangs, are you gonna bite me with those little dumpling?”
The puppy made very convincing tiny growling noises, which he could grant were kinda cute. He snuck glance after glance at you, enjoying the way you were smiling. He felt…warm.
“How do you feel darling?” He asked. That got you to finally look at him, “I feel fine..why?” You asked.
“Usually when I take energy from someone they feel a little tired afterwards.”
He explained. You thought that explanation over and shook your head, “nope, I don’t feel even a little tired.”
Not even a little? He rubbed his jaw with one hand and thought, maybe you just had larger energy stores then others? Maybe he would ask around to see if anyone else had encountered a human like that before.
“How long does it usually take you to be hungry again?” You asked slowly, “like will you even want me after-”
“Hungry or not, I want you.” He confessed. It was very easy for him to admit that at any and all times if you wanted him he was yours.
“Oh.” You got out. He reached over and touched some of our hair, “Is that a surprise?” He asked.
“A little.” You said softly. He waited cause he could see you working through more of an answer. He caught all of the little nuanced emotions you went through. Tiny shifts that he was too weak to feel before. There was confusion, then anxiety, then curiosity. So much curiosity he could taste it, nice fresh peaches. He almost smacked his lips.
“When you look at me at the races do you ever feel a pull?” You asked.
“A tug?” He quipped and you frowned, instantly annoyed.
“Fine, a tug, do you ever feel that?” You asked. He kept playing with your hair and nodded, “all the time, but I thought you hated me so I bothered you instead.”
“What a great plan.” You granted sarcastically, “let’s annoy her to death be-”
“So at the very least she’ll look at me.” He finished on a chuckle. Maybe not his best plan but he wasn’t much of a planner. He let your hair go, he could thankfully sense the greater demon. They were getting close finally, he couldn’t wait. He eyed the hellhound and concluded that his car was definitely getting way too crowded.
“One more question.” You asked.
“Shoot.”
“If I asked, would you let me drive your car?” He could feel you staring, supremely focused on his answer. This one of course was a no brainer, he knew what a good driver you were.
“Of course darling,” he turned to you, his tongue playing with his lip ring, “it would be an honor for a top 5 racer to drive my car.”
This must have been what you wanted to hear, satisfaction poured out of you. He spent the rest of the drive deciding what it tasted like.
“This was not what I was expecting.” You said while looking up at the very modern mansion at the top of a very long and winding driveway. Hanse chuckled at you from the driver’s seat. He pulled out his phone and looked for the gate code.
“What were you expecting? A haunted mansion type deal?” He leaned from his window and typed the code into the keypad posted right outside the gate, “demon’s do their best to blend.”
“Why?” You pushed. The hellhound who was Dumpling in your mind yipped at you. The gates started to open, “put it simply, there are way fewer demons then humans, and even if we’re stronger and supernatural and all that, you all have an amazing capacity to kill things in mass.”
“I guess that’s fair.” You granted. He patted your thigh and began to pull forward through the gates. Dumpling began to bark more.
“He must know his master is near.” You scratched behind his ears and he went from barking to trying his best to chew at our hand. He caught your finger in a puppy bite, breaking your skin.
“Ouch,” immediately you put your finger to your lips, “Dumpling that was too rough.” You mumbled.
“When we stop I’ll kiss it and make it better darling.” Hanse said smoothly. It seemed silly to blush over something like that after what he had done to you in the parking lot, but you blushed anyway.
“Are there any rules to this or is it just ring the doorbell and leave the things on the porch?” You asked.
He guided the car around the circular driveway, “he has to sign something.”
You thought that was a little mundane but in the grand scheme of things it didn’t matter. He stopped right in front of the mansion. It was modern, the sort of home you saw on the cover of the real estate magazines at the supermarket. The front of it was all glass and you were sure you could see through it out to the sea in the day time. At the moment there was only one light on upstairs.
“Is he even home?” You whispered.
“Great question.” He answered as he turned the car off. The silence felt like it was pushing in on you both. You watched him unbuckle his belt and get out, “I’m just going to ring the bell, stay here.” He warned. It seemed silly to protest. He started away from you unrushed, unhurried. There was a part of you that wondered about how smooth everything seemed to be going. For your first outing with a demon you had no-
“Oh a little human?”
You didn’t have time to answer, someone with the cutest face you had ever seen was reaching towards you eyes sparkling and suddenly you were so tired you couldn’t keep your eyes open.
