butch is an extremely diverse identity that intersects lesbianism and strives for a masculinity that is not rooted in the patriarchy. butch is a gender identity that means many things to many different people, not just cis white lesbians. that includes lesbians of color, butches on t, butches on e, butches who are trans, butches who transitioned, butches who use he/him, butches who have a weird gender, boydykes, lesboys, and especially butches of the working class. if you don't support them then you don't actually support butches.
a lot of you non black lesbians cannot conceptualize that black women can be soft and feminine and you really need to unpack that!!!
being a pretty princess type femme into alternative butches feels so silly sometimes, like somewhere out there there's a big scary tattooed n pierced butch who doesn't yet know he'll be married to a sorority girl one day
If I was a white dude they’d call me stoic and mysterious but I’m a black femme so I’m just unapproachable and intimidating
Lesbian bf ✨
i love black lesbians
I think it’s important for femme’s to remember that you don’t need to be hairless, wear a bunch of pinks or dresses all the time to be considered femme.
You don’t need to look a certain way. You don’t need to weigh a certain number. Or do your makeup every single day or even at all. You don’t need to have long hair or perfect skin.
You don’t need to follow a bunch of rules on how to look to be considered femme. It’s so much more than your appearance.
and if you do like pink, like tulles and laces, don't overthink either. there should never be shame what styles we choose to be comfortable in. ever one of you is so, beautiful.
stone lesbian sex is the best sex a person can have… reblog if you agree
One day we will discuss the oversexualization of black women 🤔
Let's discuss how black women are oversexualized since they're a kid and it's even embedded culturally telling little black girls they can't wear certain hairstyles cause it's too grown or certain colors it's actually ridiculous. I have been oversexualized since I was young simply because my body was overdeveloped having to wear baggy clothes. Just because men are creeps LIKE LET BLACK GIRLS BE BLACK GIRLS TF? It genuinely sucks because there was definitely a period of time I was oversexualizing myself because that was what I was used to 😓
Death to amerikkka and death to israel. I’ll be happy once the Global South blows these countries off the map.
if you want to date femmes but then behave as if our beauty routines are extravagant or a waste of time, you don’t want to date femmes-you just want an illusion of femininity that doesn’t require you to examine the labor of gender performance or understand the experience of femme identity
