Love Story for the Ages

Byler has helped and inspired so many people. They will always live on in our hearts. The ending we deserved would show us we should never have to say goodbye to our inner child. No matter what happened on that screen, Byler was always canon to us. Always.

The fact that the plot holes are so vast and the marketing for this show is so weird and the narrative is so unsatisfying that theres a chance there really IS a secret episode that they've been keeping under wraps

If im being realistic, there's no fucking way. Theyre not smart enough to do that big of a plot twist. And with the way specifically Noah has been acting towards this show as its finally wrapping up, I think this is just the shitty end and we have to live with that.

But fuck if this is real and they actually pull it off I take back every single thing ive ever said about them because that would be THE plot twist of all plot twists. I might have to steal that...

I also downloaded the puzzled app and now it says 8 hours until it unlocks and the chapter ends….

I got to chapter 2 on the game but I don’t think I’ll make it to chapter 8 before 8 hours. Need to get some sleep lol.

The DB said it would be a “Dark Christmas”. Wasn’t Joyce’s play “Oklahoma”—but it was actually “Dark of the Moon” that she fooled everyone into watching? Wasn’t “The Dark Crystal” poster on Mike’s wall, too? Didn’t MBB say that the finale is a Meta? A play within a play?

What’s also ironic is how El tells Mike- “this isn’t like one of your campaigns, you don’t get to write the ending” and what does the show end on? Mikes campaign and his ending…..

Conformity

And why does their ending feel so damn conformed?? There has to be a reason, right? They all have their hair combed, slicked back, and dressed in their Sunday best. I know they just graduated but damn. The coloring is even surreal and different and mimics Henry’s mindscape. They’re being so proper, with the exception of Max throwing a fit saying it bullshit and Mike’s ending is trite. And like Dustin said, “we stay true to ourselves and our friends” —and Dustin cut his hair.. but you know. Conformity is killing the kids.

But also look at the lock around Will’s neck… the ever elusive lock that wasn’t resolved.. it’s just a fashion statement. Right?

Or is Mike still the KEY that is yet to be used?

Either way, this game is diabolical.

I know I sound crazy and out of my mind.. but if I think there is still a chance that Byler can have closure, then god help me, I will keep on with these theories..and die on this hill we’ve been running up

Nancy and Robin look conformed, too. I know they’re trying to appear 22 & 23, but damn. And Steve even mentioned something about being able to afford a house or some shit?? WHAT. And being all proper drinking from red cups like the bad ass ladies they are. It’s alright.. we’re professional business ladies now. The vibe is off for their characters istg. Was this the plot twist? This is not the stranger things I watched.

I’m sorry.. but WTF.. is this not over?!? What could this mean?! I’m literally holding out for a hero and holding out for one last day & if everything is bones, it’s bones.. but this is crazy. Especially that picture of the roller rink that’s going around with Will DELETED?? Because they can’t be serious.. if nothing happens with any of this.. I highkey won’t be watching stranger things for a LONG ass time. I’m making a choice like El and I’m being delusional one. more. Time.

And Vance Goodman comes on after a couple more songs and says “it’s the first day of the year and the last day of the squawk. Let’s get back to you guys. Patrick called in with a dedication for his hot redhead girlfriend Shelley, his words not mine, saying grab your skates and let’s hit the rink this Friday. Again that’s Patrick saying that to Shelley. I can’t skate, I don’t want to do that.. at all. That’s what we need more of in this world. Just wholesome fun with no immediate danger. As I said unless I put on ice skates then lookout!” Will is sorta like Vecna right Vance? Is there a reason Will was omitted from the picture because he doesn’t want to skate? Like wtf

FUN NEW DEVELOPMENT..NEVER PLAYED THAT ONE BEFORE...TODAYS THE DAY WE'LL NEVER FORGET...I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER THIS ONE FOREVER...BECAUSE THIS TOWN IS SPECIAL...IT NEVER QUITS -—-and the song Hammer to Fall?? Argyle says "dominoes are gonna fall"—El had a poster on her wall "Dynamite Falls" —and now this song "it's gonna fall, hammer you know, hammer to fall"....and the lyrics are very sus "History won't care at all Make the bed, light the light Lady Mercy won't be home tonight"

The other post I made before for wsqk, talks about 45 minutes in and 30 minutes after or something like that. In episode 8, 45 minutes in (just about) Kali and El get hit by those loud speakers. And almost at 30 minutes left to go, Mike hears the loud speakers at graduation.
