Katie & Robbie first met on Saint Patricks day a few years ago. They knew right away that something special was between them. On their first date, Katie began constructing a message to her mother. It read, “I think I just met my soulmate.”
Robbie, driven in his career, was living in Erie at the time while Katie in Pittsburgh. They both worked hard on their relationship and fought past the struggles of living long distance. Their bond grew stronger because of it. Their weeks were spent looking forward to each and every time they would be reunited. In May they both moved to downtown Pittsburgh. It was a breath of fresh air to be in the same city.
He began to prepare the proposal. It was New Years Eve, when they began their walk to Heinz hall, where the big tree would be waiting for them. To both of their surprise, it was closed. They began exploring downtown and navigated to the ice skating rink, which was unfortunately closed as well. After laughing it off they went to dinner and headed home for the night. Robbie knew that no matter where the location was, he was ready to ask for Katie’s hand in marriage.
In only a few short weeks, Katie planned a dreamy intimate wedding. The most important members of their family were in attendance. The day began with Katie fixing a gorgeous up-do inspired from Pinterest and the perfect bridal makeup. She stepped into her gown, a timeless, long sleeve, vintage cut and waited patiently as her mother and sister helped button her up. Before she knew it, it was time to walk down the isle.
The day was as beautiful as the love that Katie and Robby share. It was such a pleasure to be a part of your day.
