Ok... One day my phone was vibrating violently. It was text upon texts from THE EX! This is one of them. Notice that I wrote a reply but never sent it. He's not worth my words! But he's believed his lies soooo much, he's living it! Then again, I guess it's the only way to live with yourself if you sleep around with my friends. But then he has the nerve to say he misses me?????? 😯 Sigh. Thank GOD I never married him. Such a embarrassment and a disappointment. Am not saying that out of bitterness, but as a human being.

So this happened earlier this year. Honestly, I was VEXED! The EX needs to realise that I don't need him congratulating me on ANYTHING! Just BUTT OUR OF MY NEW LIFE WITHOUT YOU!

Rather annoyed!

Personally, for me, I don't like being near or around an ex for a good number of years. Period! It's not that I still have uncontrollable feelings for him, because I don't. But it's because I want to enjoy my new life without him dabbing into it. It's horrible sharing the same set of friends. Sometimes they let things slip, and I'm like, "I really didn't need to know that!"... Moving on! So yesterday, I was just minding my own. One friend came up to me requesting something. I just thought ugh...ok....but I have plans. So I said to her if it doesn't affect my plans to travel, then ok. Another ear picked up on it. "Oooh where you going? Are you meeting someone special? Is he going to propose?" Uh hello.... how on earth does "my plans to travel" turn to that??? See, the friend was then starting to act friendly. I think I wrote an earlier post about friends siding with the ex...yup. This is one friend who did that. I just kept the information to a minimum because 1. I don't trust these friends. 2. My business is my business. 3. Leave me alone. When I needed a friend, they weren't around. Now that I am at a place of complete peace, they want to be a friend again!?! Ugh. Rather annoyed!

1 year later...

Happy New Year! I made it through a year without him. I can honestly say it has been a fantastic year. I travelled twice! I started a new job. I started a new business. I bought a house for investment. I reconnected with a long time friend, who I now happen to call ‘my fiancé’…. Yup. I realised a lot of things. If the guy truly loves you, he will do everything in his power to love you more. You see, the words of “I don’t love you anymore” are words from someone who never loved you in the first place. The “love” my EX had for me was only bassed on conditions. He waited for me to meet those conditions. But I did not. So he got up and left. Yes…I felt totally used. Yes I felt so rejected. But I learnt from it. And I moved on. He may have broken my heart in 2014….but he didn’t break me!

Now my friend can deal with him. Yes you read correctly :)

6 months later...

Well. It has not been easy to forget what my ex did. But it has really shown me who my true friends are. Those that listened to his crap, believed him, and sided with him are no friend of mine. Those who had the guts to question me (only 2 actually) began to realise that what he was saying was far from the truth! You see...when you know that you are in the wrong, you spin so much lies so that you look like the good person. Well. I just kept my cool. Am not going to say a word. I will just let his character destroy him. Anyway, so it was my birthday on the 12th. This fool. He got me a present, and a card. I looked at him and said "what does your gf think of this?".... he then claimed he's never had a GF. More lies. I had to send him a text.
