3 Stages of Love - Cancer  ♡

In the 1st stage of love Cancer is all or nothing. They are either confusing, hard to define, or evasive and waiting for a spark to come from nowhere. In the other case, they are already love sick, partly addicted, and their complete emotional base is regulated by the partner’s mood, interactions, and attention directed toward them. Internal needs begin surfacing from childhood and the Cancer begins idealising a redeemer and someone who can make those wounds vanish. Cancers want to spend a lot of time with you at this stage, and they are battling between their instinct, their desires, and their conditionings 

In the 2nd stage of love Cancer adopts the person as part of the family and sacrifices much of their inner resources to love, nourish, and nurture you. They are very openly affectionate and stop wearing makeup and getting dressed up - preferring to be comfortably intimate in their messy home and messy clothes. At this stage, Cancers are gauging your acceptance and revealing more of their own eccentricities and emotions to measure your potential. They are also highly idealistic and start to release many of their own defences and suspicions. You have now become a chapter in the book of their lives

In the 3rd stage of love Cancers are highly devoted, loyal, generous, and thoughtful. They have a powerful psychic connection with the partner and often have dreams and prophecies involving the person. They are highly responsive to overt or covert emotions and brutally defensive of the partner and any threat directed at the relationship. At this stage, Cancers are willing to be vulnerable and let their endless stream of emotions flow. But an intriguing possibility is often the case - the security of such love has provided an inner base and support system where emotions no longer regulate them, their lives, or interactions, so the risk of emotional dependency and drainage diminishes
