Intro post

I started this account as a personal grimoire for my paganism and witchcraft, but I also use it for other things. I work with mostly Hellenic and Kemetic deities, but have some from different pantheons that I work with as well. The deities I consider my soul parents, or whatever you want to call it, are Isis and Marsyas.

I’m a disabled, autistic, queer witch, and I believe that paganism/witchcraft is meant to be freeing and not another way to box yourself in. Just because your path doesn’t look like someone else’s doesn’t mean it’s wrong. I’m also not super into labels, they help to explain things easily, especially online, but they can’t always fully describe an experience. If I use the wrong label/terminology for something let me know!

I also reblog various posts about activism, disability, and leftism (and sometimes memes), especially those about my place in the queer community as a pansexual trans man.

My religion and craft both focus very heavily on nature and animals. I practice elemental magic, nature magic, chaos magic, a bit of herb magic, and anything else I find interesting at the time.

for those who don’t remember, “mole interest” was an experiment I did 2 years ago because I wanted to test what causes tags to go trending on tumblr. My hypothesis was that all it takes is one (1) post blowing up in an established tag to make the entire tag trend.

I had randomly generated 2 words, which is where “mole interest” came from. I failed to consider that by generating a new tag, it wouldn’t have had enough posts already in it to prove what I now call “the mole interest effect”.

But now it does.

In 2023, we said “fuck it” a la mythbusters and ended up doing whatever it took to get #mole interest to trend. And it did. And it happened to be September 11th that day, and we managed to get #mole interest to trend ABOVE #9/11.

So, in the name of science, I ask you to reblog just this post. Let’s put the mole interest effect to the test.

Another tip for matters of call volume - Most call centers see their heaviest volume between 12pm-1pm and 2pm-330pm local time. So if you can, time your calls then to maximize that volume and keep the person on the line for at least a minute or two longer than you have to.

Also, a rush of calls right at the end of the business day when most staffers are getting ready to leave means possible overtime for call centers, which hits the companies in the books.

when i first heard about the male loneliness epidemic i was like oh yeah close camaraderie and bonding between men is often discouraged in favor of competition or, if not discouraged, at least filtered through a lens of individualism that precludes deep connections. and then i learned what people meant by it (men arent getting laid) to which i say skill issue

It’s more comforting to convince yourself that all men are assholes then it is to face reality which is that your ex boyfriend wasn’t destined to become an asshole but for a variety of complicated societal and personal reasons he ended up that way anyways even though he could’ve chosen to not be an asshole

Your dad doesn’t suck because he’s a man. Sure, him being a man probably contributed to the various circumstances in his life that caused him to suck and believing that men are destined to suck gives you an easy to understand answer of why the world is this way but in reality your dad sucks for a variety of complicated reasons. You’re probably still justified in throwing ice water in his face and cutting him off but he didn’t drive you to that as an inherent extension of his manhood. He drove you to that because he personally sucks. A lot of men personally suck for a lot of complicated reasons but unfortunately there isn’t one universal easy to explain answer as to why that is.
