He blinked, started by the fae’s sudden appearance. “Mmmm…sure.”

Slumping a bit he suddenly felt tired. “Just…contemplating the meaning of life…I think its ducks.”

"That might just be the weirdest thing to come out of deep thinking I've ever heard of." He turned his head to look at him for a second before saying "I heard about what happened."

  "I’m not going near him, I already told you that" she said. "Okay, and I can  make you the promise that you won’t have to give me another one"

"No, because he will kill you if you do." he said flatly "I'm sorry you've had problems but you can't keep doing this, acting like you're not part of the pack. You can consider this an official warning."

Her expression instantly saddened at the mention of Damon’s name. “I feel extremely guilty with what happened to Damon and if I could go back and fix it I would”

"But you can't. So if you want to stay alive you stay away from him understand?"

"I know it was stupid but it was easier to face what real problems I had without anyone around. It’s hard to explain but it made it so much easier" she said as she looked down for a second before looking up. "I have bipolar disorder and I didn’t know about it until I went to the clinic"

His expression didn't budge with her confession. "It doesn't excuses you for acting like you're not part of this pack. And that's not even going into what's going on with Damon."

"Well then where is everyone? It’s New York for crying out loud! It’s never quiet here."

"I don't know but I for one am enjoying it well it lasts. And on that note, I was talking to Isaac the other day and I think we should use this quite and take a pack trip. We were thinking Coney Island, what do you think?"

"Who said I would have stopped you? You're right it was stupid! You're supposed to be part of this pack, you agreed to answer to me as alpha but right now you might as well not be. You're pack is here for support not just more people you can hide your problems from Evangeline."

He turned round and leaned back on the workbench, his arms crossing across his chest. "Where the hell have you been?"

Hektor spotted the Shadowhunter from a way off and walked over, sitting down next to him. "You all right Kid?"

"I'm ok with that, let's see if the rest of the pack are available then."

"When have you ever seen me glittering? Seriously."

"You are only now realizing this?" He clapped Hektor on the shoulder and refilled his glass. "Do yourself a favor man…the girl is a lost cause."

"Tell you what.." He said after a brief pause. "Keep the kid out of my sight and I will forget how bad I want to kill her alright?"

He let out a heavy sigh "I'll give her one more chance. She's just a kid after all."

"Deal" He said holding his glass up to chink it against the other mans. "Now how about a less stressful topic."
