nice things from the manhattan mental health walk were meeting a younger-than-my-grandma-but-older-than-my-mother woman who works at the tenement museum who previously managed a poster museum that i did a ton of work for back when i restored posters, so we talked for like half an hour and had the loveliest time and she told me to email her next time i'm in the city and she'll make sure to arrange a tour for me, got my glasses readjusted so they're not crooked anymore and got lots of compliments on them from a fancy glasses store, ate very good congee, looked through some guy on the street corner's huge telescope at the moon (this was on saturday actually), then had a drink at the stonewall and while chatting with the on duty bartender and an off-duty bartender who was also having a drink i convinced the off duty one to schedule a text to all of his current situationships and exes for 3 PM on pride—when, very importantly, he will be working tending bar—that just says "I miss us"
