Treat him with kindness
I know maybe not many people will see this, but I really want to say it. Being in the spotlight is part of the job, but it doesn’t take away a person's right to privacy and safety.
Every single fan sincerely believes that their five-minute request for a photo is a minor thing. But when hundreds of people think the same way, they turn into an endless avalanche. One person multiplies into thousands of fans a day.
Stalking, constant filming, and crossing personal boundaries cause immense stress. The artist stops being treated as a human and becomes an object. It’s hard to call this kind of behavior "fan love."
You might feel like you need to take 100% advantage of the moment to see them and take a picture. But I suggest using this moment to act maturely, humanely, and remember that there is a human being in front of you first and foremost. They share their deepest thoughts and feelings with you through their art, and they give you their energy through concerts. Give them a chance to feel calm and safe around you, instead of making them feel like an exotic animal in a cage that everyone wants to capture as a trophy. We all love to sing along to "Treat people with kindness" at concerts, but it seems it's time to practice what we preach. Be kind to yourself, your loved ones, and the artist you love.
ZmcD and ZK, I think this video was made especially for you:
Again, I can't say enough how stupid, desperate and embarassing it is to put your own life on break, and follow your (fake) partner around. They're 100% doing it to make it look real, but honestly it only makes it look even more fake.
In these World Cup days I've talked to some friends on here about Haaland (I'm so proud to be a Norwegian lmao) and his girlfriend. He plays for Manchester City, so they live in Manchester. She's not following him around all over the world/England when he's playing football. Obviously the World Cup is different, so she's there. But as a football player you play at least one match a week, often two. And even though she's just an influencer, she doesn't follow him around everywhere. BECAUSE SHE HAS HER OWN LIFE.
I'm running out of ways to compliment michael's solo in saturdays but it's always pretty, I love that he's always ad libbing something different every night and keeping it fresh, it keeps it interesting and fun for ME and I'm sure for him as well so yeah love love love delighted to hear it every show, always happily anticipating what it'll sound like

Already home
I feel like this music begins as if in the darkness of a room, where the characters drink wine and spend the night reflecting on their relationship. Gradually, with the dawn, the music grows lighter. By the time the bridge plays, light floods everything the author sings about—the entire world is illuminated by love; it is everywhere with him. This is a true manifesto of fidelity."You’re already home" at the end sounds like a promise. It’s as if he is saying: "Your home will always be wherever I am, no matter what planes and trains separate us."This "light" in the music becomes a symbol of hope. If love illuminates everything—from alleyways to the very edge of the earth—then it is strong enough to "warm" that cold car seat and turn something secret into something enduring. "Can we start believing?" sounds like a call to the partner to stop fearing the "wrongness" of their situation and to start making those very plans they "never carry out" (future plans). He is not just watching his loved one leave; he is giving them a foundation. He turns their "secret" into a "fortress." After all, true love often begins precisely where convenient circumstances end and conscious efforts take over."Being home" is not about the address in a passport; it is about the choice to choose each other every single day, despite the pouring rain or passing trains."You’re already home" is the most powerful and decisive argument. After all the doubts, the rushing between cities, and the guilt over "stolen moments," this phrase strikes right at the heart. It eliminates the need to choose or to run anywhere. He is not simply asking them to stay—he is reminding his partner of where they truly belong.
This final line holds everything:
* Consolation: "You no longer need to look for a sanctuary; you have already found it."
* Acceptance: "I accept you completely, with all your fears and the cold car at the entrance."
* The Final Choice: This is the resolution to the conflict within oneself. If you are already home, there is simply no point in leaving.Home is not a place, but a person who understands you and waits for you, no matter what. The most beautiful and, at the same time, agonizing thing about such stories is that we never know for sure. Life is more complex than songs, and sometimes "being home" in each other's hearts is the absolute maximum people can afford.
THE SLEEVES ARE FRILLY TOO?! I AM GOING TO CRY
Omg, the whole article is about nothing really. She doesn't mention Harry (not surprised there) but when the writer mentions him, they say "maybe this, maybe that, reportedly...". She really needed the tattoo to make the article interesting and sell it. Like someone said yesterday, they used that pic to cause bait
I read the whole article and my entire reaction consisted of a series of huge yawns and a few laughs at the obvious platitudes. They literally crammed everything in there, but in reality they didn’t actually tell anything. As we expected, everything was left up in the air, open to the reader’s interpretation, and without any direct comment or insight of the slightest interest from her. And that is precisely why we had that photo yesterday focusing on the matching tattoos. Had the interview been published without all the fuss created around it using Harry, they wouldn’t have achieved their aim.
“And yet, today she’s anonymous”
Done. No more for tonight.

I am literally just going to throw myself out of the window.
The Notebook? Harry's favorite romantic comedy that he brings up all the time? Opus 28. As in the number they're both obsessed with? The piano scene? Where she regains her memories just for a moment and remembers how much she loves him?
Noooooo... it got MORE PAINFUL.
Louis had played Radiohead as his outro music a few times. Harry just went to that event to honor the lead singer of Radiohead and told the story about losing his virginity (and also said Radiohead is his favorite band). And, of course, Romeo and Juliet is a story of forbidden love.

holy shit. ALL of what's mentioned above: my flabber is GHASTED. the connections between all of everything has me on the floor again.
also him slipping in Bigger Than Me and Out Of My System into his speech before Carla's Song AGAIN and then giggling (yeah, honey, you know that we know🤭)
i can’t believe he CHANGED his outro song “randomly” (not randomly) after 8 nights of having the same damn outro song AND not just using a song from his favourite romantic film (which: 🥹), but I can't get over Opus 28 being the outro song (his literal 'Exit Music' btw) at his first show during Pride Month 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ AND also on the same night that Louis has the 28th show of his own tour AND while Harry's basically wearing a non-binary pride flag and bounding across the stage with a pride flag for the 3rd night in a row. he is TOO MUCH (he's not). oh my god. i love him and them and their love so much.
Harry is SO LOUD. he is SCREAMING actually.
Wait. @hoovesandfloorpaws just blew my mind again. This post IS SO MUCH.
So, of course, I cried about how much they love each other.
BUT THEN I LOOKED AT THE LYRICS OF MELANCHOLY HILL
For one, his live performances don’t generate the sort of viral moments he needs. His stage show has improved so much, but it’s still very static and he still has too many nights where he just isn’t singing on key.

I agree with you, Gina! It’s part of the artist branding I was talking about but I felt like my post was too long already haha.
The part that frustrates me the most with Louis and his team is that he has all the ingredients to being a more well known artist! But it’s almost like they’re ignoring the obvious decisions needed and the feedback his fanbase gives. (Like who asked for him to publicly date a reality tv star with a problematic past? Lmao.)
Now, maybe this is a bit of a hot take but I don’t think Louis thrives in the pop music space like Harry does and his voice isn’t as versatile as someone like Liam who could’ve easily thrived in any genre. I understand why Louis is embracing his pop roots in this era and the music in HDIGH? is amazing so I’m not saying he can’t have a bit of pop in his music but he is not made to be a pop star. (Which is why some songs, like his Hozier cover, are bad choices for him to sing compared to the fan favorite covers. Wrong genre for you, Lou. Sorry.)
To me, Louis would thrive in the alternative music scene. I know he loves his alternative rock so I don’t see why he and his team don’t try and see if he can find a newer audience in the alternative music scene. Niall and his team have been doing a great job connecting him to the country/folk music scene and Zayn is pretty well loved in the rnb music scene so why can’t Louis find an audience in the alt music scene?? Especially in the pop-punk genre since his style suits that genre the most. It feels like an obvious thing to do so why haven’t Louis and his team tried to do that? I wonder what barriers they have behind the scenes preventing them from doing so because I really think he’d find more of an audience with alternative people.
I can go on and on tbh. Like of course I get frustrated with the careers of the other 1D boys too but Louis’ frustrates me the most because I truly do not believe he’s reached his full potential yet (not even close tbh). He’s so naturally charming, talented, and beautiful that his team shouldn’t be struggling this hard to help him find his place in the music industry. Thank you for reading my (very long) original anon and a future thank you for reading this (also very long) rant 😅😅😅❤️.
Side note: Happy pride!!!! ❤️😌🌈
I think that’s easier said than done. He’s already tried to break into the indie scene and, from what I’ve seen, the fans and gatekeepers in that space were not open to him in a major way. I imagine the alternative music space would be similar.
It’s idiotic, because I agree his voice lends itself to that genre. But in so many ways it feels like his career has been stymied and bungled—both intentionally and out of stupidity—for so many years. I just don’t know that changing genres again is going to help.
And happy pride!! 🌈🌈🌈
