Boy toddler got a hair cut and I just am so emotional about it. Like it’s not his first hair cut, it’s just he looks SO BIG after it. EVERY TIME. I’m just an emotional mom. I miss when he was tiny, now he has favorite songs (garbage truck song- blippi and 5 little ducks techno), favorite foods (sausage pizza, strawberries and Cookie Monster ice cream), favorite movies (bad guys, descpicable me 4) and favorite stuffies (squish the squishmallow and Ollie the otter) and like he’s just this little person and I’m so in awe of him.

Yep from experience telling your care provider that something is negatively impacting your quality of life is a game changer!

Another phrase to include as appropriate— symptom is causing functional impairment. Or to sound less text book "symptom is negatively impacting my ability to function in day to day life. AKA Symptom is making it hard for me to do every day tasks or hobbies like go to the grocery store or hang out with friends.

I wish I had known this with my last pregnancy. I’m overweight but I was having bad back problems and every time I brought them up to my OBGYN they said it was normal and that using compression socks and a back brace for support would help (especially because at the time, I was working as a grocery clerk and I was on my feet for most of my shifts). It really didn’t help much, and I ended up with a sprained back at one point anyway.
