Please appreciate a hilarious Modern AU Cosette explaining Girl Topics to Javert - art by @chernychnyi and commissioned for me by @lestatslestits. I love that Cosette's subjects of choice include everything from lizards to Valjean. Javert is probably using a third coffee of the morning to come back to full consciousness as the Mermaid Mythology Opinions wash over him. I love all @chernychnyi 's Les Mis art and this illustration is exactly what I enjoy writing in a Modern AU - plenty of unexpected interactions and unexpected humor.
