I'm so proud of myself! I've lost a total of 8.8 lbs since May! That was from following the Kickstart Plan by @natashaxjade and by staying consistent. I was so worried that I lost all of my progress because graduate school has been super hard and I kept falling apart and just eating fast food and drinking soda again and drinking alcohol almost every weekend (mostly at a social hour with other grad students, thankfully not binge drinking), and just not eating healthy or exercising. But I didn't lose any progress, so it's a great reminder and motivator that I can just pick up and keep going where I left off. I'm so excited to start the eat clean challenge but what are some great snacks to buy besides fruit that are good for eating clean?

I keep getting down on myself because I don’t think I’m getting anywhere. Especially lately because I haven’t had time/made time to workout because Graduate school has been exhausting.
But then I look at these photos, and I realize how far I have come in just a short amount of time. So I shouldn't get upset about how I feel at the moment, because these photos are telling a completely different story. My midsection is going down, my face is less chubby. I can run 2 miles at a leisurely pace without stopping! I should be proud of this! And I am, but it’s hard to stay that way, because I keep expecting more of myself, even though I have come so far. It shouldn’t matter if I haven’t worked out at all in 3 weeks, because I just had a life changing experience with moving to Alabama and starting graduate school. I just need to get back into the swing of things and start slowly incorporating a workout routine in when I can. It’s definitely possible, because I will need the “me time” as grad school starts to become more difficult and time consuming.
It’s just so hard, because after working 12 hours a day at least 2 days a week, the last thing I want to do is workout. But I need to. If only I had some friends here or an accountability buddy to keep me in check.
