It’s been awhile since I’ve posted.

My mom was talking to me about contraception and safe sex. She got pregnant with me during her college years.

This is her advice to me:

“Don’t do that calendar method. I did that and I made a mistake.”

I’m that mistake...

I told my boyfriend about this conversation and he laughed. For a good 5 minutes.

I grew up in the farm. Living in the metropolis drains me and coming back to this brings back life to me. City living is never for me. Bring me home to the clean air, the smell of trees and grass, the sound of crows crowing, cows mooing, smell of fresh, brewed farm coffee and bread. This will always be the best kind of life for me.

Simple and contented.

The best thing about being outside of Metro Manila and back to your home province, is the fresh air. Bonus points to the healthy sea breeze.
