-consistently put moisturizer on the area (if you are worried it might be infected, use antibiotic cream as moisturizer)

all my mom does is say “I know🥺” and makes me watch my younger brother all the fucking time, because he can’t be ‘trusted’ with him but that doesn’t do anything to solve the fucking problem and now I’m basically this kids caretaker as I have been for practically his whole life after he turned two, and my brother gets no responsibility what so ever because he’s fucking incompetent and a asshole

I had a similar situation. Trying to keep all the other siblings okay while our abusive older brother got away with almost everything and we were told we were oversensitive.

He could speak fine I guess we were just oversensitive about the whole "getting chased around with knives" thing.

He got told not to do those things but nothing happened when he didn't listen.

Yay being the caretaker sibling.

Thankfully he moved across half the country when he became an adult and barely admits he knows us anymore.
