This is literally the last month you can reblog this joke

boutta see knives out and I hope I’m not disappointed
I AM LOST IN THE WOODS NORTH IS SOUTH RIGHT IS LEFT WHEN YOUR GONE
East coast people pass Midwest people in a store and the Midwest people will strike up a conversation and the east coast people will get all creeped out cuz of how the weird strangers are trying to ask them questions when they're just minding their own business
I'm east coast people
Im midwest people
Hows that local weather been treating you, huh? Hoo boy, ive sure been experiencing local circumstances
*crouches to a defensive stance in the middle of fucking costco*
Because by Northeast standards, the Midwesterner is being impolite. Interrupting someone else's day for trivial conversation* is seen as forcing them to expend time and mental -and possibly physical- energy they may not have. So the question is now: why is this person being rude? They're either doing it to make others uncomfortable, are uninterested in being polite, or are unaware of local norms. The cost of a false positive on the former two is a stranger who thinks you're weird... and who will eventually learn that We Don't Do That Here. The cost of a false negative is, potentially, fatal. So yeah, the skeeze alarms go off when a random person starts up a conversation.
*Imminent danger ("Look out!") or other necessary information ("You dropped your wallet/gloves/keys") is not trivial. Asking for help is also not rude- in fact, people will politely assume that you have it under control or would prefer to do it or figure it out yourself unless you indicate you need assistance.
y’all wildin, clearly y’all don’t live in the middle of the country in the east coast because everyone knows everyone so we talk, there is no strangers
boys of summer reprise makes me feel things
“Jokes on you fat boy I don’t even know how to read” “that’s not even a joke” I mean of course it’s not Henry got held back how many times?
as an eldest daughter, i sometimes commit the grave sin of having emotions
I’m not normally serious but can we just talk about how many people joke about speech impediments? I have a lisp and a nervous stutter, it gets bad. Do y’all know how many times people joke about these things that I can’t control? Please stop being an asshole to your friends with speech problems.

I may be a clown movie stannie on main, BUT I am an It the musical stannie first and foremost
who else is in the “didn’t realize sheep have long tails until i was like 20″ club
Undocked unrestrained
The reason most farmers dock (cut off) the tails is to prevent fly strike, an often lethal infection of fly larvae in the rear of the sheep. Without a (VERY FLUFFY) tail for fecal matter to accumulate on, fly strike is almost completely eliminated!
there is a wide variety of similar treatments for farm animals that are entirely for the animals well being pigs get their tail curled and tusks removed as babies so they dont accidentally nip each other while playing or stab each other just walking around- even a small tail nip might be fatal once the other pigs react to the scent of blood goats/cows often have their horns removed as babies as well both for obvious reasons to prevent stabbings but also to prevent them from growing in weird that can cause pain and infection for the animal chickens and other poultry, especially pet ones or hobby farms, might have their flight feathers clipped to prevent them from flying over fences, where their life expectancy is nill outside the farm/owners enclosure
Very good and valid points but please tell me what you mean by “might be fatal once the other pigs react to the scent of blood” before I lose my marbles
Pigs are omnivores and cannibals. Fun fact if you ever have need to dispose of a body, tossing it in a pigpen will get rid of it real fast.
There’s a reason why everyone went into a full blown panic when Dorothy fell into the pigpen in the Wizard of Oz. Pigs are vicious.

Concept: a superhero whose civilian identity is five different people. Not like they’re a hive mind or they can duplicate themselves or anything – they’re just a group of five people who all have different powers but coincidentally wear roughly the same size costume, who’ve decided to team up and share the same heroic persona. As far as both the general public and the broader super-powered community know, they’re a single incredibly hard-working super with a bewildering variety of seemingly unrelated powers, except they only have access to any given power some of the time owing to complex criteria they refuse to adequately explain.
(Thus far they’ve been very careful to ensure that their heroic persona is never provably in two places at once, though honestly it’s only a matter of time; there’s some argument among the group whether to deal with that eventuality by coming clean, or by claiming that bilocation is also one of their powers.)
Each of them has a different specific weakness. After a long and harrowing fight their Archnemesis discovers that the Hero’s vulnerable to silver. Three weeks later they’ve got the Hero wrapped head to toe in silver chains, only to have the super-strong Hero break out like it was toilet paper.
(That one’s allergic to bees, not silver.)

It’s been over five years and that still impresses the hell out of me.
