What about the main character from Outer Wilds?

The Outer Wilds protagonist does not have a Ryu Number.

Maybe there’s a path! I’m not exactly sure of your rules, but if you send a scout probe through one of the seeds in dark bramble it lands in a room from Elsinore. Peter Quince in Elsinore is from Midsummer Nights Dream. Titania the queen of fairies is in any number of gacha games, but Age of Ishtaria gets us to Alice of wonderland, who is in SINoALICE with 2B. I’m sure there’s a shorter path somewhere though, assuming the first step is ok

So the rules (here) only allow for links through character appearances, and since Quince doesn’t appear in the Elsinore easter egg in Outer Wilds, he can’t be used as a link.

However, the dead bodies on the ground can be confirmed as Hamlet and Gertrude in a continuation of Elsinore’s “Exeunt All” ending, and those two CAN be used as links, which means that the Outer Wilds protagonist has a Ryu Number of 3.
