*TWÂ Shadow Work Tarot Spread
Shadow work requires love and patience as it can be extremely stressful if youâre not prepared to face dark truths. Before starting, ground yourself and have a loving and accepting attitude towards yourself even when you see something you donât like. This spread is to help you find strengths in the darkness.
If you will be interrupted, are feeling imbalanced, have low energy, are busy, and/or cannot handle intense emotions/memories at the moment then save this for another time. I suggest doing this only once a week or even bimonthly at the most to really reflect.
1. What is it about my _____ that I need to work on?
Pull 1 card.
If you lack direction or are overwhelmed then pull two cards. The first card is the topic, the second card is what you need to work on regarding the topic.
Example topics: ego, greed, spirit, love life, social life, attitude, childhood, trauma, fears, addiction, guilt, scars, destructive nature, happiness, appearance, point of view, self esteem, leadership skills, possessiveness, communication, past, health, search for answers, awkwardness, illness, shadow relationship. *This spread is not a replacement for professional mental health.
2. Where does the problem stem from?
Pull 1 to 3 cards. If one card doesnât explain enough pull more cards.
3. How do I overcome this?
Pull 1 to 3 cards, same as above.
4. What is the lesson I need to take from this?
Pull 1 card to concentrate on the focal point of the lesson.
5-7. What is an unknown factor about this topic that Iâve yet to realize?
Pull 3 cards. Since this is âunknownâ, youâll have to get a bigger picture. This may trigger memories or uncomfortable realizations depending on the topic.
8. What should I do about it?
Pull 1 to 3 cards, same as question 2.
9. What affirmation can I say to get through this?
Pull 1 card.
Think of something short and simple to remember even if theyâre just a few key words. If nothing comes to mind immediately, give yourself the space to contemplate as you soak in all this new information.
Notes
Make bullet points to focus on and what you need to remember and do.
Maybe have a journal/tag to track your thoughts and revelations.
Find a friend you can talk to if you need someone.
Facial Mask-- Healing the Heart Spell
This is something Iâve used for a while, and I decided to share it. I use it for healing of the metaphysical/spiritual/emotional variety.
Hereâs what you need:
2 tablespoons dry oatmeal, chopped or ground so the flakes arenât whole
Just enough milk or cream to soften the oatmeal
1-2 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of finely chopped lemon balm (can be substituted for another non-toxic herb or flower of your choice that is associated with healing, or calming, my other go to is chamomile)
(optional) 1 egg white
Blend all the ingredients together, and apply. I use this as a facial mask mostly, but it could be used anywhere within reason on the body. When using it as a facial mask I apply it to a clean, freshly washed face, and let it set for about fifteen minutes before washing it off with warm water and patting my face dry. If youâre into ceremonial magic you could apply this before or during a larger ceremony intended for the same purpose of spiritual healing.Â
Hereâs the breakdown on the âwhyâ of the ingredients:
OatsâSoothing and healing. Both medically, and magically. Oatmeal baths are good for treating rashes and bug bites (ever get an oatmeal bath as a kid when you had chicken pox? I did.) You want to chop or grind it into small pieces because the whole flakes bug the heck out of me. If they donât bug you, then by all means, leave them whole
MilkâMagically, milk is good for healing, spiritual cleansing, and nurturing, just to name a few of its attributes. Looking at its purely physical properties, milk is high in vitamins and super moisturizing. Thereâs a reason people like milk baths. If you have a bad reaction to milk you can use almond, soy, rice, or coconut milk. Check the properties of each, and see which you like best for the spell.
HoneyâHarmony and healing. Medicinally, itâs great for anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, so basically it kills all the nasty germ bits. Dermatologists like to recommend yogurt & honey facial masks. Be aware of the type of honey, as if youâre allergic to oranges for example, orange blossom honey can have a poor reaction to your skin.
The HerbsâI like calming herbs. I want herbs that will help me relax, because itâs about spiritual healing, and I feel that calming down helps with that process. Chamomile has a soothing effect on the skin as well, itâs effective in soothing itching and burning, so if youâve got eczema, acne, or a similar skin irritation, it can be used to help relieve the symptoms and promote healing. I like lemon balm though as my favorite, just do.Â
Egg Whiteâ Psychic cleansing, protection, and removing curses. Eggs are also high in protein, potassium, magnesium, and riboflavin. What that means for your face is that it helps fight against the development of wrinkles, and hydrates your skin, keeping it soft and the cells strong.
My dirty little secret: Iâm absolute crap at taking care of my skin, thatâs why I try to make sure that some of my daily use spells are in the form of a facial scrub and/or a facial mask, because otherwise I never bother to do anything except splash some dial water on my face in the shower. Iâm vain, but lazy as all get out. When I build my spells that I want to use on a regular basis into things that are good for my routine, I kind of cheat and give myself a really good reason to actually take care of myself. I actually have three different blends of facial scrubs, and two kinds of moisturizers on my bathroom counter right now, each with a different spell attached.

my parents arenât teaching me life lessons.
#i need some adults to TEACH ME SHIT ABOUT LIFE
Iâm an adult.
Some shit about life, from a bonafide adult:
even if you get along great with your family you will get along even better with them after moving outÂ
generic is almost always just as good as name brand. But there are some things you never buy generic, including: peanut butter, ketchup, liquid NyQuil, Chips-Ahoy chewy chocolate chip cookies
just imagine the person on the other end of the phone hates talking on the phone as much as you do. Even a receptionist. I worked as one and I hate talking on the phone
at least once in your life you will go to Wal-mart to buy something under $20 like an ironing board or something and your debit card will get rejected. No one will judge. Everyone at some point in their lives has had $2.98 in their bank account.Â
thrift stores
everyone else is too busy panicking about everyone else noticing every tiny thing that could possibly be wrong about them to notice any tiny thing that could possibly be wrong about you
you will screw up. a lot. you live and you learn. and when you start to think too hard about that embarrassing thing that happened and how you wish you could change it, just tell yourself that whatâs done is done. Thereâs no changing it, so just forget it and move on. Itâs the only way to stay sane.
do the dishes before the sink grows its own ecosystem
you canât put Dawn dishsoap in the dishwasher.Â
if you are the only one in the aisle at the grocery store, and you need to get from one end to the other without even looking at anything in that aisle, then you should totally cart-surf down the aisle. Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional. Hold on to the little things. They make all the difference.
never try to make cake from scratch at 3am. You end up with a topographical map of Middle Earth.
15% tip.Â
the best way to get money for food is to tell your grandparents about how you basically live on microwaved mac and cheese. Their horror may result in twenty bucks and orders to go out and get yourself âa real dinnerâ.
sometimes life sucks, and knowing that it might get better doesnât always make it suck any less, but youâll never get to the non-sucky days without enduring the suckiness.Â
no seriously, NEVER put Dawn in your dishwasher
Do not buy generic brand spaghetti sauce either.
Always check the type of light bulb that goes in lamps. A 60w is not interchangeable with a 40w.
Dollar store batteries work just as well as store brand.
Reward yourself from time to time when you do things that you needed to get done. Itâs a good way to remind yourself to do them. Going out to pay a bill? Get Starbucks or something you donât get often. Rewards donât have to be huge, they can be small things like that.
Rice, pasta, flour, sugar, cheese, eggs, milk, a pack of chicken, a pack of frozen veggies and a well stocked spice cabinet go a long way food-wise. Splurge and get the biggest container of rice you can. You donât have to go back and buy it again anytime soon and it makes a TON of meals in the meantime.
Rice can be cooked on the stove. You donât need a fancy rice cooker. Two parts water to every one part rice (two cups water for one cup of rice for example). Get your water boiling, add rice, put a plate or lid on it, put it on low for 20 minutes. It should be done.
Keep a calendar on your pc of bill due dates. If your bills are set up at inconvenient times, like all of the services started on the first or something, then call up the company and find out if you can get your billing date switched to something more manageable. A lot of places do try to work with you.
There is no shame in calling a company and asking for an extension on a bill. Let them know what you can pay, pay that amount, and they arrange when the rest of the payment is required. This can stop you from having services shut off man. It shows responsibility on your part.
Take time to eat, even when you donât feel like eating. Your body needs energy to live.
Wash or rinse your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. It prevents gross caked on junk.
âThe Worksâ is an excellent cheap toilet cleaner.
MAGIC. FUCKING. ERASERS. THEY WORK ON EVERYTHING JUST DONâT SCRUB HARD. I took the ring out of our bathtub with one. Also generic ones work just as well.
Keep some bleach around but if you use it for cleaning? Dillute it. Thereâs rarely ever a case where you need to pout straight bleach on anything. A cap full or two in a bucket of water works just fine.
DO NOT MIX CLEANERS. Chemical reactions are can be very dangerous. Hereâs a good list. (Note that vinegar and baking soda can actually be a good combo for removing smells from things but itâs not very good at actually -cleaning-.)
If you drink? Donât take meds at the same time itâs just not good.
Make sure you check the dosages on your pill bottles. No one wants to accidentally overdose on cough syrup or ibuprofen.
If you have a uterus make sure you have a heating pad and ibuprofen on hand for the pain. Hot baths also generally help and Ginger Tea is excellent for any nausea.
Buy a first aid kit. Itâs worth it in the long run.
You can often do your taxes online at places like TurboTax.
Hereâs some good sex ed resources because I had to explain what a yeast infection was recently.Â
Petroleum jelly (aka Vaseline) is good for chapped lips and you can get a decent sized tube or tub of it (generic brand version) for cheaper/same price as Chapstick.
KEEP TRIPLE ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT IN YOUR HOUSE FOR CUTS AND SCRAPES AND SORES.Â
~~Medications~~
Over the counter medications (stuff you can buy right off the shelf no prescription needed) have a name brand and a generic name. ALWAYS buy generic if itâs available it is literally the same thing and way cheaper usually.
Some names to remember when youâre looking for meds!
Acetaminophen = Tylenol
Used to treat pain and reduce fever. Do not take with Ibuprofen.
Ibuprofen = Advil, Midol, Motrin
Used for pain and fever, is an anti-inflammtory. Is good for period cramps because it is an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).
Naproxen = Aleve, Naprosyn
Treats fever, pain, arthritis pain, gout, period cramps, tendinitis, headache, backache, and toothache. Is also an NSAID.
Acetaminophen + Asprin + Caffeine = Excedrin
Usually marketed as âMigraine Reliefâ as a generic.
Asprin = Bayer
Use for pain, fever, arthritis, and inflammation. Makes you bleed easily so should not be used for periods. Might reduce risk of heart attacks.\
Triple Antibiotic Ointment = Neosporin
Used on cuts, sores, and scrapes to reduce risk of infection and promote healing.
Also a general mutli-vitamin isnât a bad idea and if you donât get a lot of fruits or milk/sunshine in your diet you might want to get vitamins C and D specifically for daily use.
if you do accidentally lapse and put dawn in your dishwasher, run it empty and put hair conditioner where the detergent goes. thatâll clean it out (tip given to me by dorm custodian when roommate did the thing).
if you live off ramen, add stuff to it! add veggies you like, donât use the whole flavor packet to cut down on sodium and msg or donât use it at all and add your own spices.
if youâre making something with potatoes in it (beans, stew) potatoes are done when you can easily stab a fork through them.
you can microwave a hotdog as long as you put it in a microwave safe container of water. microwaves work by making water molecules vibrate. also, when reheating rice leftovers, add a small amount of water, like maybe a spoonfull, so it doesnât get hard and crunchy.
the rice cooking advice above is for long grain rice. if youâre making short or medium grain rice, a 1:1 ratio (one cup water for one cup rice) is better, so the rice doesnât come out too mushy.
buy a few cans of chicken. wholesale club stores like samâs, costco, or bjâs tend to carry multipacks for a good price. theyâre incredibly useful for when you forget to defrost meat.
buy meat on sale and put it in the freezer. buy vegetables on sale, and put them in the freezer. frozen veggies are often as flavorful and good as fresh ones, keep longer, and often come in microwaveable bags or with microwave directions.
soak ink stains in milk to help get them out or at least lighten them.
soak blood stains in water as soon as possible, with a bit of detergent or stain remover. scrub at them. use cold water, heat binds proteins to fabric. tbh, thereâs no real need to change the washer from cold-cold setting unless the thing youâre washing says to wash in warm water.
acetone, found in most nail polish removers, dissolves super glue.
YOUâRE ALL DOING GODâS WORK BLESS YOU
Takes pictures, have prints made and put them in photo albums. Be IN the pictures, have someone take pictures of you and your friends. Get over not looking perfect in thw picture. Someday that friend might be gone and those pictures might be all youâll have, you will want to be in them. I made that mistake with my best friend, i always felt weird asking for a picture together⊠he died of cancer January of 2014 and now i have no pictures of us together. Its my only regret in life.
This is really helpful, thank you all!
Iâm the newest of new adults but Iâm gonna throw these little tips in there. IF YOU HAVE AN OLD CAR:Â
-coolant or water if your car overheats (coolant is preferable cause it wonât hurt the engine in the long run but hey i know money is tight)Â
-flashlight in case you break down at night and need to check under the hood and your phone is dead
-SPARE TIRE.Â
-jumper cables.you will at some point leave your lights on. you just will.Â
AAA or any other road side service is never a bad investment i swear. (try to mooch it off your parents as long as you can though)Â
Know how to change a tire. Youâre going to need to do it at some point in time and you canât always rely on someone else to do it for you.
Donât be afraid to go to your local food bank. They are there for a reason.
Donât be ashamed to ask for help period. Life is hard, everyone needs help occasionally.
You can put a LOWER wattage bulb in a lamp that says itâs for a higher one, but donât put a HIGHER wattage bulb in. Also, watts refer to the amount of electricity used. LUMENS refers to the amount of light put out, and can vary quite a bit between brands, even though the wattage is the same. Look for the one with the highest lumens unless you actually want a slightly dimmer bulb in a certain location. Those dollar store batteries? Fine if theyâre alkaline. âHeavy-dutyâ batteries, however, wonât last nearly as long. You can microwave a hot dog and bun simply by wrapping them in a toweling for a minute, less if you donât want them scalding hot.
Reblogging to save lives.
Two adulting (kitchen-related) tips from me!
1. Buy a roll of parchment paper from the cooking shit aisle. A big roll will last you for-fucking-ever. Pretty much any time youâre using a baking pan you can line it with that stuff and save yourself A: food sticking to the pan and B: itâs a quick rinse and itâs clean.
2. Bread can get fucking expensive, so make your own. A bigass bag of flour and a bag of active dry yeast (store it in the friiiiidge!!!) works out a FUCK of a lot cheaper than buying bread at the store, and you can do so much more with it. Bread, pizza, rolls, cinnibuns, homemade pizza pockets. It seems intimidating but itâs stupid easy.
Seriously. Itâs stupid simple to make, and most of the â3 hoursâ to make it is sitting around surfing the internet or doing whatever the fuck you want while the dough rises. If you have an afternoon free once a week to sit and play video games or surf the net, you have the time to make your own bread on the cheap. Hereâs my simple-as-fuck recipe:
2 Œ teaspoons active dry yeast (You can buy a bag of this stuff CHEAP in bulk stores, the little packets are hella stupid priced) 1 cup warm water (think a hot bath) 1 œ teaspoons sugar 2 tablespoons oil (any kind works for the most part) 2 Œ cups flour 1 teaspoon salt
1. Stir the yeast, water, sugar, and oil up in a bowl. Let it sit for about 10 minutes. It will foam up VERY high, this is the yeast getting happy! If it doesnât get all foamy, the water may have been too hot or not hot enough. Remember, Yeast is alive! Treat it like a nice girlfriend!
2. Mix your flour, salt, and the yeast concoction up in a bowl.
3. Knead that shit for about 5 minutes. It will start sticky as heck, but will come together into a nice dough. If itâs still super sticky, toss in a bit more flour. Hereâs how to knead it:Â
4. Put your dough in a covered, lightly oiled bowl and leave it someplace warmish for an hour. At that point it will have roughly doubled in size, give it a gentle punch to release the gasses that have built up inside. Cover it again and let it sit for a bit longer.
Boom. You have bread dough. Here are some baking times and uses for ya:
Optional egg-wash: Just crack an egg into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, and mix the bejeebus out of it with a fork. Brush (or if youâre like me, goop it on with said fork) that shit thinly on bread before baking for a nice crust.
Pizza: Stretch it on a pan, stab the fucker all over with a fork, add toppings, bake 425*F 15-20 minutes.Â
Bread Sticks: Make snake-shapes, let rest on pan 10-ish minutes, bake 400*F 10-20 minutes.
Dinner rolls: Make ball-sized (yes those balls) balls. Place on greased pan, let rest 10-20 minutes to rise. Egg-wash and bake 375*F 25 minutes.
Bread: Lightly score (cut) the top, let sit for 20-ish minutes on/in whatever youâre using to bake it, egg-wash, bake at 375*F for 20-ish minutes. Itâs done when it sounds hollow if you knock on the bottom.
You bet your ass you can deep-fry this shit for cheapie yeast doughnuts. Roll that shit in sugar or dip it in whatever, itâs fucking tasty.
Bagels: YES. YOU. CAN. Form bagel-shapes out of the dough and boil them in salty water for about 2 minutes. Egg-wash them and bake them at 400*F for 10 minutes.
Cinnamon Rolls: Roll that shit out into a rectangle. Brush it with a mix of butter, cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt (no exact amounts here, do it to your taste). Roll it up into a log, and cut it into discs. Let them sit 20 minutes in a pan and then bake at 375*F 15-17 minutes.
You can add whatever you want to the dough for some variety, just if itâs dried spices remember you really only need 1-ish tablespoons. I personally like making bread with about 1 tablespoon of dill in the dough. Roll it out flat, sprinkle it with cheddar, roll it into a log, squeeze the ends shut, and bake it like a regular loaf of bread. Cheesy dill bread OMNOMNOM.
*ahem* That got a bit long. But yeah. Breadâs expensive, yo. Save your wallet.
(Also itâs ridiculous amounts of therapeutic to bake, for me anyway)
Being able to bake your own bread is pretty awesome, if you got the time for it.Â
After my 2 years of adult hood in Boston here what I'm adding to the list :
Food: âątacos Seriously who doesn't love tacos, but they are super cheap. Get the delicious corn soft shell ones. They at a 1.75 most places and last forever if you put them in the fridge. Also any taco filling can be used the next day on rice or pasta ** (see the rice post above). You can do this to make lunch the next day.
âącream of mushroom Seriously just put this bad boy on pasta and it's a cheap delicious hearty meal.
âącabbage Veggies are great, eat them. But they will go bad less then a week. Cabbage is an exception. It can last awhile and it's yummy. You can use it in all sorts of dishes.
âąmake your own lunch Seriously is pricey to go out. My prices may be skewed cause, Boston. But the cheapest places to eat where I work are around 8.00. Doing that every day kills your budget.
âąget your self 3 buck chuck or other cheap wine if you drink I work in sales. Every day I come home exhausted and just need to decompress. It's nice to come home and treat your self. But a nice bottle of wine is around $20 bucks. My suggestion is if you have the money, but that one decent bottle and then stock up on cheap wine. Trade joes 3 buck chuck as people call is great for a cheap wine. The other I found is the big Angie's brand. (I hate reality tv a lot but damn, cheap wine)
Handling stress:
Every one handles stress differently. As some one with anxiety in a high pressure job to preform I find this the hardest thing to deal with.
âąmore people then you know are in the same boat It's amazing the few times I've had to call out of work due to a massive panic attack and when I open up about it people I work with say "dude last week I had the same thing". Done use this as an excuse to not push your self from the darker times, but use it to realize your not the only one embarrassed and have had a lapse.
âąschedule me time Treat your self, but you don't have to spend a million dollars on it. I schedule Wednesday or Thursday to be me time. I take a long bath, smoke my hookah and drink my $3 wine. Some people binge watch Netflix, other burrito and read, do you hair in a fancy way, take up wood working or sewing.
Join a club: âąit's hard to make friends when your an adult. School gives you a common place meet up. There are great apps like meet up where you can find groups of like minded people that enjoy similar things. Join a work sports/ game league. Don't be afraid to befriend some one who is 2X your senior.
Sleep âąget 7 hours of sleep! I got to bed around 10:30 now. No shame. Set your alarm an hour in advance of when you need to get up and turn on the light. You can pass out for another 30 minutes. Set that 30 minute alarm. Finally set an alarm for when you need to be out the door.
Legal stuff
âąget everything in writing I've learned this over the time with rent. Any changes to the lease or anything get in writing. Most states have good renters rights.
âąread documents I know, those giant agreement to phone bills, rent, or anything scary. But if something confuses you, ask. Usually costumer service, land lord, or ect will explain it to you.
âątake pictures of damages If anything fishy keep documentation. You can't just use she said he said in the adult world.
D'awww, my first curse bottle :3
âFuck you, bitchâ
I wrote down a list of this personâs sins on the back of a card she had given me years ago. The card was signed by her and, bonus - the card had an image of one of her tattoos. Good, good.
I wrote these sins down and my intentions. I made a poppet out of the card. I saturated the card in my own blood. I burned it while chanting my intentions, glaring at the flames.
I stuffed graveyard dirt, vinegar, chili powder, other ground peppers, screws, needles, and the ashes of the card / poppet into the bottle.
I shook it up while channeling my intentions into it.
I burned a candle on top of it. The wax dripped away and a gnarly flame chewed at the top of a cork.
It is done. All of your joy will turn to ash until you do right by me.
I know my place.
Kupala Night - old Slavic celebration. It relates to summer solstice. Many of the rites related to this holiday within Slavic religious beliefs, due to the ancient Kupala rites, are connected with the role of water in fertility and ritual purification. On Kupala day, young people jump over the flames of bonfires in a ritual test of bravery and faith. The failure of a couple in love to complete the jump while holding hands is a sign of their destined separation. Girls may float wreaths of flowers (often lit with candles) on rivers, and would attempt to gain foresight into their relationship fortunes from the flow patterns of the flowers on the river. Men may attempt to capture the wreaths, in the hope of capturing the interest of the woman who floated the wreath.
To celebrate the summer solstice and full moon, Iâm offering my clients and future clients a Full Moon Tarot Spread Reading at the significantly discounted price of $15 USD (PayPal). Â :) Kimber

Hello! I've been pondering a bit, (& if you find it uninteresting, no offense taken) do you think that chess pieces could be used for spells that assist in big life changes?
Oh I find this fascinating. I absolutely think they could be! Heck, just chess pieces in spells generally is a fantastic idea.Â
Use a pawn as a poppet to draw bad luck so you can âsacrificeâ it to protect a bigger piece (ie. you)
Use bishops for creativity and problem solving, or for hiding/findig the hidden part of a situation because of their sideways motion
Use castles for strength, for spells to make things simple and linear, and for strength
Use knights for when you need a little flair, for luck when taking a calculated risk, for being a little brash
Use the queen for power and cunning, for when you need to dominate the field, for when you want to obliterate something
Use the king when you want to keep secrets, and for protection, for setting wards, especially personal protection ones
Pick a color for yourself, and one for people other than yourself and use them appropriately (ie. enchant them, cast spells, etc.)
Place pieces in position to be taken on the board to set up a spell, leave the fallen/victorious pieces on the board until your objective is complete
Or maybe thatâs me and my style of playing chess and casting spells? But the potential here is fantastic, your idea is brilliant

Ooooh. I may have to check this company out. And that necklace! So pretty!
These all smell amazing and are made with no synthetics! Essential oils only. I have most of her samples and a roller bottle of Coyote that I love.

Sea Witchâs Protection Bottle
Intent: To absorb negative energy and promote positivity.
Ingredients:Â Sea salt (protection, warding, absorbing negative energy)
           Sand (absorbing negative energy)
Rosemary (protection, espeically psychic; association with sea witchcraft)
Candle of choice to seal it with.
Simply put all of the ingredients in a bottle and seal it! You can do any visualization and meditation that you want or need, but this is a very simple, easy protection charm. I prefer not to make it too involved and just let the ingredients speak for themselves. This is a pretty common set of things associated with sea craft and protection.
What you do with the remains of your spell (wax, photos, ashes, etc.) is just as important as the spell itself. The spellwork does not end when the candles and the incense extinguish. The spellwork is not complete until you return the remnants back to the Earth. The Earth and the universal energy carry and propel your magick and your spellwork to its full completion. Make sure your disposal method does not contradict your desired outcome by completing your spellwork following the disposal methods outlined below:Â

- Notes:
*Banishment spells refer to any spellwork where the desired goal is to remove or end undesirable conditions, circumstances, people, or habits.Â
*After performing a curse, it is best to completely disconnect from your magickal working. Not because of karma or anything external, but because you cannot thrive while being attached to the energy of destruction. You can do this by not looking back when you walk away. By walking away without looking back, you consciously (and physically) disconnect and move on with your life.Â

From an ecological standpoint, I do not like burying anything in the ground or tossing anything in water. Yes, itâs traditional. But is it good for the earth? Unless itâs natural and biodegradable, like food or paper or what-have-you, I personally no longer do this even though this is the way I was taught.Â
^This.
The biodegradable part is VERY important. If youâre going to bury a curse jar, I suggest doing so in a planter pot. That way itâs easier to dig up if you need to as well.
Little âWitch Potsâ are pots made of salt dough and are great because all you need is flour/water/salt to make the dough. Once youâve made a little pot with the dough make a lid for the pot.
You can add herbs into the dough if you wish for an extra kick to your spell. You can also draw sigils into the dough before it dries and hardens. Then all you have to do is let the pot dry and then fill it with all the items you would have put in the spell bottle. You can paint sigils onto the outside of the witches pot and then you seal the pot up with wax and bury where you please :)
- Oh I like that idea!! I need to do this lol. I donât bury things unless theyâre biodegradable. If not, I just burn it.
Ritual Baths
Creating Bath Salts The basic ingredients are table salt, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate). Some herbalists also use borax. Add the salts to a large bowl in these proportions: 3 parts Epsom salts 2 parts baking soda 1 part table salt (or Borax) Mix thoroughly. Divide if making more than one type of bath salt. You may use food coloring to color the mixture. Add essential oils. As you mix, visualize the energies within the oils merging with each other and with the salt. Keep the saltâs magickal goal in mind while you stir. Empower the mixture. Store in airtight container until use.Â
Circle Bath 3 parts Rosemary 2 parts Myrrh 2 parts Sandalwood 1 part Frankincense Color: Purple Bathe in Circle Bath before any form of magickal working to strengthen, purify and prepare yourself for ritual. Earth Bath (Elemental) 4 parts Patchouli 3 parts Cypress 1 part Vetivert Color: Green
