@hojabby I’ve literally never seen thanksgiving portrayed as anything but a harvest festival and a time to celebrate family, and harvest festivals are umbiqitous in areas with seasonal harvests

Just coordinate with your family the same way you do for Thanksgiving but, wait for it, on a different day. Like use whatever excuse you want but don't act like y'all can't coordinate when you literally doing it for Thanksgiving. Like if you want to have a dinner with your family you can just plan that in advance and include everyone in those plans. Make a group chat if you have to.
