Anyways for quick worldbuilding because me and @cheezybatz already thought this through, Quintessons are demons. Redgrave is a distant moon/planet. The atmosphere is also red.

Here are their alt vehicle modes because i was bored and had enough time for ts

Dante

- self explanatory

- its his style and its also been quite a staple of his character in general.

Vergil

- sleek, smooth, and much more classy compared to Dante's alt mode

- i think there would be bolt-like add-ons to his paint job or something reminiscent of his coat.

Lady

- a bike would have also worked like the one she rode in dmc3

- idk the quad bike was calling to me when deciding for her

- her netflix version gets a police bike alt mode.

Eva

- the plane Dante and Trish flew out of Mallet island from.

- in a way she's saved them and also the red fits her style

- strange childlike whimsy and wonder from this style of plane in particular idk

Sparda

- Quintesson general monoformer (?)

- i don't think he'd have a vehicle alt mode purely because its not his style

- he'd probably turn into his sword when given his bot mode icl

Mundus

- planet.

- he and Unicron already look pretty similar (beard + wings on an otherwise stone/metallic being)

- it fits his ego.

In the original storyboards it looked like Baines was trying to reason with Mary in an actually attentive way, yeah he's shocked at first but he immediately tries to like talk to her and he has such sad big eyes oml 💔

Final product makes him sound like he's forcing himself to say it just so Mary could come back and protect them

I fucking hate how cold Baines became in the show because wdym he was her father figure. It wouldn't have looked like grooming in the episode 6 flashback if it actually showed he was willing to care for her AS WE SEE HERE???

And plus i fucking hated the "oh if he fails he wad never with us" line

"Mary doesn't need your impiety. She may have mistepped but she will prove her faith in the end." HE TRUSTS HER AND IT SHOWS
