it tells me Everything i need to know about edwin that in the film reel from davids first birthday(i think its the first) when he takes the foxy puppet fiona made and loudly does the 'arghh' thing and it causes david to cry a little and fiona tells him 'youre scaring him' edwin doubles down. he dismisses fiona and actually starts the pirate growl thing louder which only causes david to cry louder.

Kinda fucked up that since there’s two Mimics now, that M2 just never knew any kindness.

They never met and befriended David like F10N4, they were made to replace him and only ever knew Edwin’s abuse for doing exactly what he made them to do. That’s all they ever knew.

Well, I don't know, maybe the gameverse M1 is indeed 10x scarier than Tales! Mimic, but I like to imagine that TFTP David wouldn't even be afraid of SOTM M1.

I'm gonna post this twitter thread in the main tags because I think it explains everything of concern with the new game pretty thoroughly! I see a lot of people freaking out (I also did at first because of what I heard)

old information we have about Henry and William and the animatronics is basically untouched, they still made most everything, the new game just adds extra context and information to what was going on back when fazbear entertainment was getting off the ground. it makes sense for henry & william to not have made literally every single animatronic since fazbear ent. is a big chain of locations, but that doesn't mean they weren't responsible for plenty of stuff on their own still
