You need to loosen up.” With a few minor tweeks, and a few hits on the side to power it up, Mei turned on her latest creation, that honestly just seem like a giant metal hamster ball with turrets on the sides of them.

“Now if you don’t run at full speed, my baby is definitely going to run you down and turn you into a pancake, so try not to let that happen, ‘kay?”

“Hatsume-kun, I would never accuse one of my peers of being something as vile as a villain without undeniable proof, and even then I would be hesitant. However, I do completely believe you’re aiming to torture me.” Iida was most certainly sweating, as well as terrified of just what Hatsume had in mind. He still didn’t know what it did, and he had an awful feeling he was about to find out.

Hatsume had given him very little warning, and suddenly the contraption was whirring to life as Hatsume told him to run. Flustered and fumbling with his words, he stared at her in fear. 

“Pardon me?!”

“Oh calm down, I’m joking. You need to learn when to lighten up. If I torture you too much I loose a good guinnea pig.” Mei pressed a few buttons on a sort of remote control and watched as a monitor showed up. “Though this baby will try to run you over, so yeah, just be fast like I know you can be and you’ll be good! Anyone else I tried this baby on had to go visit Recovery Girl, and so I learned my lesson!” She smiled, making sure all of her baby’s functions were all set.

Mei didn’t really know how much time had past since she started panic searching for her latest creation that she was hoping to turn in for possible investors to see, and put her name on the map. But for some reason, it was completely lost! Where could it have gone! She didn’t program it to just get up and walk away, so what happened!

Slowly but surely, she could feel her anxiety rise, making her normal jittery self become a mess of nerves, and she could feel any form of sanity she had was practically gone now.

“YOU!” She shouted at the poor soul that happened to cross her path. “You took one of my babies didn’t you! What other explanation would there be of you being here right now!”

Kissing Meme || underwater kiss

Today was supposed to be a good career move for Mei. She was able to get permission to test out some of her babies in an aquatic like environment. She was over the moon that the community was seeming to take her and her inventions seriously, she could almost cry. But crying was for onions and terrible movies. Now it was time for some business.

Luckily for her, Iida had oh so graciously “volunteered” to help her test out her newest inventions. Granted she told him that she was going to help him and his engines be more efficient, but that was necessary to get him to participate. He should feel honored that he has an excuse to try out his engines in water. Especially with her latest creation, waterproof engines to help heroes with quirks not well adapted to the water.

At least it was supposed to do that. When Iida went to try them out, it seems like it’s been quite a long time since he came back up for air. Mei realized that she more than likely made them a little too heavy for proper usage, so that’s probably not the best thing to make someone wear underwater. Realizing her mistake, Mei hopped into the water to see Iida struggling to get the engines off. Yep, definitely too heavy.Mei helped him take it off, since she knows how to properly, and could see Iida’s face start to turn color under the water as she did so. Probably was losing too much air, which is understandable, and Mei took responsibility for the mistake. She pulled Iida’s face close to hers and kissed him, blowing in some air into his mouth so he didn’t h=pass out underwater and she would have to try and give him CPR. It was the least she could do after all.

Mei makes really weird stuff when sleep deprived out of really weird components that doesn't work as intended but also works perfectly as something else. Example: a construction of kitchen utensils that is supposed to be a water wheel but instead works perfectly as a very large transistor for some reason.

Headcanons

Mei would totally be the type of person who would make something that would count how many flakes are in your cereal when she’s getting little to no sleep. She has to feel like she’s being productive when she can’t come up with anything more practical.

Headcanon: Mei doesn't get nearly as much sleep as she should. Her sleep-deprived energy wears out her classmates and teachers, and some have even begged her to go to bed early. Some of her classmates have considered manufacturing a tranquilizer for her, something her teachers have quickly put an end to, even if it's really tempting even for them.

Write a Headcanon about my character

Oh totally. Mei is completely a night owl, and would rather work through the night and is lucky to get 3 hours of sleep a night, with just makes her look like she’s a walking talking zombie. Though she kind of feels a rush in getting no sleep and uses the random bursts of adrenaline she gets and uses it to create more inventions, which in turn makes her get even less sleep and the cycle continues.
