This is my recent university project, an awareness animation on a matter that’s close to me, dyslexia. As I suffer myself, I wanted to make a piece that shows people, who don’t suffer, how it feels. My pencil tests came out well with several subjects struggling to read what was being spelt by the penguins bellies. That’s why I created two animations (see animation below) of the same thing as I found the black background brought out the word clearer, which is the opposite effect of what I wanted for my piece. The blue background (animation below) came about by accident which I kept as I believe it livened up the piece and made it harder to read the penguins bellies again. The text I’ve used is a special dyslexic font called ‘Dyslexie Font’ created by a Dutch graphic designer, Christian Boer.

This animation is my very first animation that I created for my university project that was a competition for A2 milk. This is still a rough which I hope to work in to, but I want to try other methods of animations to see what works for me.

These pieces were all created for my Final Major Project in my second year of University. The character represent a story that I would one day like to write and publish. These pieces were exhibited on canvas in a 3D effect with the ground and perspective pieces (like legs, arms, weapons, etc) all on different layer to give the impression they’re walking out of the canvas.

This is a combination of myself (on the left) and my own creation, Hetchey, who I believe is my auto ego (on the right.) I've shrouded our faces with a wolf’s head to show my love of wolves and the hat scarf I usually wear. My snowflakes represent the 3rd winter month (February) which I was born in. 

I used pencil to create the basic design of my piece for my avatar and extended the piece to create my banner in photoshop
