Hi players, creators, readers, designers and illustrators of tabletop RPGs on Tumblr!

My name is Matti and I'm also one of those people above. Last year I've become smitten with the hobby and of course I had to create my own games: AI HAVE FEELINGS? (A tabletop robot playing game for emotional beings) and Wasted Hours (A one page solo game of avoiding work at the paranormal institute).

The above games are a work in progress but the feedback I've received is wonderfully encouraging. As of now I am developing a card game called GHOSTED (for two players) and another card game called Monster Bounty (set in the universe of my paranormal institute).

You can check out my games on itch.io and my illustration work on Instagram. In the never-ending search of the right spaces to talk about the things we love, I've breathed new life into my Tumblr account with the purpose of discovering games and their creators on Tumblr while sharing my own stuff.

What you need to play TAPE WURMS

I bet you can play TAPE WURMS with game pieces you have lying around:

2 sets (black and red) of playing cards ranging from 1 to 6

6 dice: 3 white, 2 blue, 1 green (or other colors)

Around 20 tokens or coins to substitute the WURMS

Welcome to the Royal Institute of Paranormalities

Your job as a field researcher is to protect paranormal phenomena in a world of real monsters. Except for today, because today you’re on desk duty. How will you waste time till evening falls?

Wasted Hours is a roleplaying game for one about making the hours pass at an office desk. You will roll dice and write down on your timesheet the ways you waste time.

Wasted Hours is a game for 1 player and takes about 30 minutes. You can download it for free on itch.io.

Two six sided dice (2d6) in different colors

One representing WORK (black)

One representing WASTE (white)

A pen(cil) to journal the day

Submit records of supernatural entities that haven’t been observed, snoop around in the drawers of colleagues or have a taste of everything in the communal fridge. And maybe inspect the sound coming from the corner office? Just make sure the boss doesn’t spot you doing nothing and don’t drink too much coffee trying to work.

An entry for the One-Page RPG Jam 2023 set at the Royal Institute of Paranormalities, a setting inspired by X-Files and The Office.
