The people who have a little bit aren’t struggling under the heavier weight and pressure of exaggerated senses and stim related behaviors (amongst other challenges) of those who don’t have a little bit

Everyone has melanin but the people who have a little bit of melanin aren’t diagnosed with dark-skin like the ones who have a lot of it

This is an art fight attack on Sprinkleco0kie’s Sonic OC Sprinkles

This sounds silly, but this art fight has been incredibly healing and what inspired me to start drawing again. This attack in particular ended up being special because I have autism and the Sonic franchise was one of my first special interests! I used to draw Sonic characters all the time and even made my own Sonic OCs which I unfortunately lost over the years. I loved watching speedpaints of Sonic characters and OCs and dreamt of drawing like the artists who posted those videos one day. I’m nowhere near the artistic skill level I want to be and I’m wildly insecure about my art but today I’ve reached that dream because little me would be so amazed at how I can draw! And maybe that’s where confidence is born, viewing things from the perspective of your inner child. I felt like I connected with her a bit drawing this. After all the only people we should be comparing ourselves to is our past selves 💜
