Leighton's look for the party @behindtheglam
the kiss had set quite a few emotions free in both of them it seemed, hers so readable on her face as he was sure his were on his own. while it felt like it was a kiss that was long overdue, at the same time he knew it required a moment like this between them, simple yet meaningful in its very own way. chace's lips instantly pulled into a smile the moment the kiss was over, meeting leighton's gaze as a soft chuckle fell from his lips at her question. "are you asking me out on a date?" he teased playfully, not truly caring to put any kind of label on this yet but the timing of her question was too perfect not to take this opportunity to tease her with it. "can't leave a lady starving so let's go wherever you want to go to." grabbing her hands and pulling her up from where they'd been seated, he looked at her. "lead the way."
Leighton couldn't help but roll her eyes in mock exasperation at Chace's playful teasing. She smirked back at him, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Oh, don't flatter yourself too much, cowboy. I might just be hungry and in need of a good meal, that's all," she retorted with a sly grin. But beneath her banter, there was a warmth in her gaze that betrayed her true feelings. As Chace took her hands and stood up, she squeezed his hands lightly before tugging him along. "Well, then, mister, since you're offering to feed me, let's go to that new taco joint downtown. I've been craving some spicy tacos for days now," she replied, a playful lilt in her voice as she pulls him with her out the manor.
Sebastian draws himself out of his thoughts long enough to cast a glance at Leighton, azure hues taking in the smile she displayed along with that teasing tone of hers. Brows draw together only slightly as he tilts his head in thought, thinking back to all of the other relationships he's had. Of course, Sebastian wouldn't know how he looked at someone, or how he smiled when he thought of someone but Leighton has known Sebastian for a long time. So he took her word for it. "Really?" He asks, still questioning it with a small laugh. He draws his lip in, "Do I need to tell you, or do you know me well enough to already know?" He hums with a laugh.
Leighton chuckles softly, her eyes dancing with amusement. "Oh, I know you well enough, Sebastian," she teases, a mischievous glint in her gaze. She reaches out to gently nudge his arm playfully. "But go on, indulge me. Tell me, how do you think you look at someone when you like them?" Leighton leans in slightly, curiosity evident in her expression as she waits for his response. She knew Seb like the back of her hand, so him denying it, just made this conversation all the more fun for her.
Are my Gossip Girl dreams coming true and we are getting a revival or are Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester really together?! Screaming for joy at this pap video -- Anon @christopherchacec @heyitsleighton
Leighton: She's arrived! @behindtheglam
"mhhm, that's exactly what i was saying." he hummed, continuing to meet her gaze though his briefly dropped to her lips when she leaned in. the rush of excitement and happiness he felt when her familiar scent filled his nostrils was very welcomed as he inched just a tiny bit closer so his lips would brush against hers. the touch was almost as soft as a flutter of a butterfly's wing would feel against the skin but the electricity that came with it was intense, making him yearn for more. "punishment might not be the fitting term for what i have in mind." chace then finally replied softly, voice low before he kissed her gently.
Leighton felt his lips on hers, warm and inviting. The kiss was gentle yet filled with an unspoken longing that mirrored her own. His touch sent shivers down her spine, igniting a fire within her that she had long suppressed. As their lips lingered together, she could taste the sweetness of desire on his breath, and it only fueled her hunger for him. When they finally pulled away, Leighton's heart was racing, her mind fogged with a delirious euphoria that only Chace could bring out in her. She met his gaze once more, a silent understanding passing between them as they both knew that this moment would change everything. And as he whispered softly against her lips, promising a different kind of punishment, Leighton felt herself falling deeper into the spell he had cast over her. The game they played was dangerous, but in that moment, she didn't care. All that mattered was the intoxicating thrill of being lost in him. "It's a beautiful day out. How about before we go with your plan, we go with mine first and we got out and eat? I'm starving." she smiles cheekily at him.
''No one actually. My ex wife just sent me a video of my son with a project he did for school. I guess you can say that I'm a lucky father too.'' He smiled as he set his phone down. ''If you thought it's a woman sorry to disappoint. Unless you had someone in mind.'' He replied with a laugh running a hand through his hair.
Leighton chuckled at the mention of a woman, "No worries, I didn't have anyone in mind. But I'm glad you got that video from your ex-wife. It's great to see a thoughtful gesture like that." Leighton gave a nod of approval, appreciating the positive moment shared. "Sounds like you have a good relationship with your son, that's really important." She gestured toward the phone, "Got any other projects or updates you're excited about?"
"You haven't? It is my more hidden smile. I don't just show this to anyone." Glen smirked, putting his phone back into his pocket. "The lucky person? It's more like a lucky dog as my mom just sent me a picture of my dog. I love that little thing as if it was my own child. So I'm sorry to disappoint. No juicy gossip here."
"AH, so that's the way to your heart - through your adorable fur baby!" Leighton quipped with a playful grin. "Who needs juicy gossip when you've got cute dog pics to brighten your day, right?" she playfully pats his shoulder as she looks at the photo of Glen's fur baby. "Awe! he's so precious. What's his name?"
Ariana looked up from her phone, smiling at Ley. "Lucky person?" She questioned as she put her phone down. "I have a lot to be happy about." She tells her friend.
"Come on Ari, spill the tea. I know there is someone who is making you grin like a fool in love." she teases her friend with a smile. "By the way, your new album, I'm in love with it. It's really catchy."
chace held leighton's gaze for a couple of seconds as he let the question hang in the air between them for a bit. "would you believe me if i told you the responsible person is a very beautiful, 5'5''-ish tall brunette who's currently looking at me with those gorgeous, big brown eyes?"
Leighton's heart skipped a beat as she processed Chace's words. She raised an eyebrow in skepticism, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "Are you trying to tell me that I'm the culprit?" she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement. Leighton couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth at Chace's playful confession, her own feelings for him bubbling just beneath the surface. She leaned in closer, her voice barely above a whisper. "Well, Mr. Chace, if that beautiful, 5'5''-ish tall brunette did happen to be me, what would you suggest as my punishment?"
Ley arched a perfectly shaped brow as she took in her house mate. The corners of her mouth were turned up in an unfamiliar, yet beautiful smile. "I've never seen you smile like that before," Ley commented curiously, a teasing tone lacing her words. "So, who is the lucky person responsible for putting that look on your face?" @wildewoodstarters
"Oh, be careful!" Selena warned her housemate, who was about to pick up a fresh chocolate chip cookie off the baking sheet. "Those just got out of oven." She says gently, as she grabbed the spatula and plate, assembling the cookies onto it. "Give it a couple more minutes, then you can have one." @wildewoodstarters
Leighton chuckled and nodded in agreement. "You're right, thanks for looking out for me," she said gratefully. "I'll be patient and wait until they cool down a bit." She watched as Selena expertly transferred the warm cookies onto the plate, the sweet aroma filling the kitchen. "How have you been Sel? I feel like it's been awhile since I've seen you."
"beautiful, honestly," he looked around with a sigh and then focused on Leighton again. "I don't really know... Not used to being places without a strict schedule for filming, so I'm kinda just winging it," he shrugged. "What about you? Where are you headed first?"
"Ah, I see," Leighton chuckled and adjusted her backpack. "I totally get that feeling of being out of your element. Livorno is such a beautiful place to explore though, so I'm sure you'll find something that catches your eye." She flashed a friendly smile before pointing towards a nearby street market. "I was actually thinking of checking out the market first for some local goodies. Care to join me?"
Sydney smiled at her friend. "I've been doing really great. I have two movies currently out in theaters, so I can't complain. How about you? Life treating you well?"
Ley pauses for a moment, her gaze drifting off into the distance. "To be honest..." she begins, her voice tinged with a hint of weariness before she quickly catches herself. "Life has its challenges, but I take it day by day." A soft chuckle escapes her lips as she looks back at you. "It's nice to be back in Monaco though. I remember filming Monte Carlo here with Sel years ago. The energy and glamour of this place never fail to captivate me." She takes a deep breath, savoring the familiar scents of the city - rich coffee and the ocean breeze. "So...are you ready for our shopping trip or would you rather find a cozy cafe to relax in for a bit?"
Sebastian had always been a punctual person, his anxiety would never let him be anything but. However, on the way to the Q&A, he was stopped by a few fans asking for a picture and an autograph - and ever as the people pleaser he was, he obliged. But as soon as he was free to go, he hurried to the Q&A as quickly as possible - feeling as if every minute of being late would press onto him.
With a whoosh, Sebastian's opening the door and instantly being greeted by Leighton's playful banter. Sebastian playfully rolls his eyes at her with a laugh, looking to the crew and giving them a nod - "Sorry, I got held up by some fans." Finding his seat next to Leighton, azure hues look to his friend with a laugh, nodding his head to the side - "Speaking of mirrors, got one on you? I think I have a hair out of place." He smirks, playing along with her before running his hand through his hair, "Ready to bare our deepest darkest secrets?"
"Oh, I always make sure to have a mirror on hand. You never know when you might need it." With a chuckle, she reached into her bag and retrieved a small, sleek compact mirror, tossing it to Sebastian. Her eyes twinkled mischievously as she watched him catch it effortlessly. "Deep, dark secrets? Like my secret stash of chocolate hidden in the set?" She raised an eyebrow playfully, her laughter echoing through the room. "I'm so ready for this, are you?" she asked, raising another brow. His expression made her laugh even harder before she turned to the producer who chimed in with a "We're live in five... four..." As the red filming light blinked on, Leighton's face lit up as she looked directly into the camera and waved. "Hello Vanity Fair! Wait... just kidding. I'm not Blair Waldorf, but I am Leighton Meester and this is..." She paused, turning towards Sebastian with a smirk and waiting for him to introduce himself. "And we are here today to answer your burning questions," Sebastian stated smoothly after giving Leighton a mock roll of his eyes. "But please, go easy on us. We may or may not be terrified of what you'll ask." Leighton chuckled and playfully nudged Sebastian before picking up two white cards and handing one to him. "Alright Seb, are you ready?" She asked kindly as she began peeling off the first question. Reading it silently to herself, she couldn't help but let out a loud laugh before holding it up for the camera. "Okay...okay," she said between giggles, looking over at Sebastian with a grin. "What's the longest you've gone without sex?" She arched an eyebrow teasingly. "And be honest. This isn't a game of two truths and a lie." She joked, wiggling the card in front of the camera as if to emphasize her point.
His drink went forgotten as he moved his seat closer to her, one arm going up to wrap around her as he gently pulled her into him (As much as he could while they were in the barstools) to comfort her. His jaw tightens as he listens to her go on, the thought of Adam meeting the strong end of Sebastian's fist was enticing, but his priority lay more within his friend who was hurting because of the asshole. "He is so unbelievably wrong." Sebastian spoke, "You are enough. There is someone out there for you who's going to love everything about you. Your ambition, your motivation and everything in-between." Sebastian never really had a problem with Adam before, but when it all came down to it, it was Leighton's side Sebastian would always choose, and the more that was revealed about Adam, the more Sebastian hated him. He shakes his head with a small scoff, "That's... that's not how it works." Sebastian had always had strong feelings about this particular situation, coming from a single mother who worked her ass off and still raised him to be who he was today. "My mom worked her ass off and raised me all the same, she didn't have any help. But she did it, because she's a mother, and a total badass. But one parent shouldn't have to give up their entire life to raise the kids - you made the kids together, you raise 'em together. It's a partnership. You do it together." Sebastian watches as she finishes off her wine quickly, hues meeting the bartenders signaling for a refill, "You can absolutely still be an actress and a mother. And you'd be an amazing mother, Leighton." Hues meet his friends as he gives her shoulder a gentle squeeze, "One of the best, and your kids would be so lucky to have you."
Leighton sniffled, her eyes brimming with tears as Sebastian's words seeped into her wounded heart. She had always admired his unwavering support, and tonight was no exception. His kindness enveloped her like a warm embrace, giving her the strength to face the harsh reality of her crumbling relationship. The soft glow from the candles on their table illuminated their faces, casting shadows that danced along the walls of the cozy Italian restaurant. Leighton could hear the faint sound of Frank Sinatra playing in the background, adding to the romantic ambiance of the evening. "You really think so?" Leighton whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. The bartender slid a refilled wine glass in front of her, but she could barely focus on it this time. Sebastian's presence had become her lifeline, his words a balm for her aching heart. With each sip of wine, she felt herself opening up more to him, talking about all the doubts and fears she had been keeping bottled up inside. As she wiped away another tear, she couldn't help but feel grateful for having an understanding friend like Sebastian by her side, especially considering their history as young and naive lovers. He had grown into so much more than just an ex-boyfriend - he was now a true friend who always knew how to comfort and reassure her. "You know, sometimes I wonder if love is even worth it anymore," Leighton said with a sigh, gazing out at the twinkling city lights beyond the restaurant's windows. "I mean, don't get me wrong, romance is great and all...but we can't all have that perfect romcom love story." Despite her doubts, a glimmer of hope flickered within Leighton as she spoke these words. And in that moment, surrounded by good food and good company, she couldn't help but feel grateful for having someone like Sebastian to share it all with.
