- Mickenzie was raised by her nanny since her parents were always working. Her father was a police officer, and her mother was a social worker. - As she got older, she felt as if she was a mistake to them since they never showed interest in anything she did or even really asked her about schooling. - Video games and comics were her go to during her middle school years, it was the only thing that kept her mind from going into a depressed state. - [tw: mention of death and murder] When Mickenzie was 16 years old, her father was killed in a shooting, which changed everything in the Adams household.
