I WAS NOT AWARE THIS WAS A COMPANION PIECE BEFORE READING. I was so confused throughout the story, wondering why they wouldn’t explain certain aspects of Draco’s “condition”. This story was so sad and beautiful and, thankfully, a HEA. It is by far one of the best reads for my 2018 reading challenge. Honestly this can be read as a stand alone without any problems.

I feel like I’ve mostly been reading Christmas Fics these past couple of days. I particularly liked this one because Hermione and Draco are not given the traditional teaching positions the fandom normally thinks for them. Cute fluffy Draco makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
