I’ve seen a lot of tags asking what’s happening, and I was waiting to have a bit more of the prologue done but then I realised I’m gonna quickly lose track of everything if I don’t start organising it now. Funny, since my notes are a mess and I’m writing bits and pieces of plot as I go along. Please bear with me and enjoy as a stumble through my brainrot. (シ_ _)シ
Born of my crippling manhwa addiction, and the sudden bout of nostalgia from comfort watching one of my favourite series, and my stumbling upon several fics with the HiJack ship *cough*. Y’all are talented writers that I’m now in og couple camp and crossover couple camp vdfgrtgrtg.
Plot:
The guardians answer an old spirit’s request for help in investigating a growing surge of old magic off the coast of Greenland where, there, they find the elusive world tree, Yggdrasil. It’s branches that led to doorways once dormant and sealed, now bursting with life at the newcomers presence, and for one unfortunate ice spirit results in him being flung back through time and space into the a recently deceased body of another counterpart that far precedes Jack’s colonial life; with some unexpected side effects. Dazed and confused, Jack now has to navigate conflicting memories, unstable magic, and a world simultaneously familiar and unfamiliar to him. At least the dragons are a fun addition.
