I really like how weird Ford is and I thinks that's my main issue w the movie bc Ford's just a normal weird alien guy there, not a weird weird alien guy, idk if it make sense...

No that makes total sense. If they ever do another adaptation, Ford needs to have insane manic pixie dream boy energy otherwise it’s not gonna work. He has to be so authentically eccentric it’s impossible to unsee that he’s an alien once you have actual evidence to back it up. He needs over-confident whimsy and extremely severe AuDHD.

Also whoever writes it needs to be part of Forthur nation (doesn’t even have to be canon even like… implied would be nice…) because that’s just sort of how the world’s changed since the story was originally written. Like even my mom said that if it was written now Ford and Arthur would have ended up together because they had the most chemistry and that even when she was in high school she and her friends sorta thought they were a gay allegory.

I headcannon Fenchurch as a transfem, mostly because she thinks something is 'wrong' with her. And fenchurch could've been a male name too, so she just chose to keep it.
